2. In-Line Dance Studio

My legs were sore, my feet were dirty, and my whole body felt like a wet noodle. I stared up at the ceiling from where I had collapsed in the middle of the studio. It had been 3 years since Harry Styles left me to audition for the X-Factor. I was now 19 and living in NYC. "Promise me we will NEVER learn another dance like that, Alejandro." I said in between large gulps of air. Alejandro's my favorite dance instructor at In-Step Dance Studio. He's like a big brother to me, at only 21 he's already choreographer to the stars.

"I was just getting you warmed up for your new solo, my little Brit." He teased while helping me up. Everybody else from the class had already left, but I almost always stayed later to work on a solo or just goof around with Alejandro. "But you're going to love the song! It's probably the best song you'll ever dance to!"

"Mmhmm," I answered quizzingly. I smoothed out my light pink sweat pants and straightened my lacey cropped dance top. It doesn't matter how much hard core hip hop and booty work I do, I will never give up my frilly style.

"Shall we begin?" He asked.

"Of course, immediately!" I answered. He walked over to the large stereo and turned on 'Alejandro' by Lady GaGa. I instantly started laughing my head off. "Now I know exactly what you were talking about." I giggled.

"Be serious, dear." Alejandro told me. "The beginning pose," He moved my body until it was in a perfectly elegant pose. "Now for the first counts of the dance there's slow and sweet movements,"

***************2 Hours Later***************

"Run it one more time then I'll treat you to a late lunch," Alejandro promised me. The music started. I spun and leaped to the slow graceful beginning. Then suddenly I struck the jazzy pose as I was instructed to.

I ran through the rest of the 3 minute dance, and at the end I hit the perfect tilt kick. Smiling I waltzed over to Alejandro and said "I believed I was promised food?"

"Of course, my little Brit, get your stuff and I'll meet you out front in 15." He hugged me then walked out, probably to talk to another client interested in his amazing choreography.
