5. After Dinner

Dinner was full of business talk between the guys. I sat on the opposite side of the table with the girls, in between Mickey and Eleanor (Louis's girlfriend). But dinner wasn't eventful, what happened afterwards was though.

Mickey decided to go home, Zayn and Perrie wanted to go shopping, Josie and Niall went for a walk around the city, and Louis and Eleanor went back to their hotel for a movie. That left Alejandro, Harry and me.

"Have you ever been to Central Park?" Alejandro asked, Harry shook his head no. "It's really close to here, and it's the perfect place to be this time of night."

We followed Alejandro through the streets. The closer we got to the park, the more nervous I got. The last time I saw Harry was in a park, that's not a memory I like to relive. Alejandro could tell something was wrong, he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.

"Is everything all right, my little Brit?" he whispered in my ear. I breathed in his familiar cologne and nodded. I don't know what I'd do without Alejandro, he was always there when something was wrong, he protected me.

Harry cleared his throat. I'd almost forgotten he was there. Alejandro took his arm off my waist, I felt cold without him there. We walked the rest of the way to the park in silence.

We stood in the middle of the park, surrounded by the twinkling Christmas lights in the trees. Alejandro leaned against a large tree with strings of light wrapping up it's trunk. Here, in the middle of the park, you can't her the street noises of bustling people and honking horns. I closed my eyes and breathed in the peaceful quiet. It's hard to find a nice quiet place in New York.

When I opened my eyes, I decided to go sit down on a park bench nearby. Harry sat next to me and we looked up, at the sky. I know there's so much up there that I cant see. I'd be able to see everything if we lived in the country. I'd see the stars and the moon and all the constellations. I'd count them every night until my mind full and my heart felt whole. At that moment, it felt bruised, damaged but not broken. So I starred at the sky until it broke. Two words broke my heart. Shattered it to pieces, and those pieces  floated off and filled the sky where the stars should be.

"I'm sorry,"
