Change of Heart

Amber had a perfect life, she was popular, everyone loved her and she was Head Cheerleader. Her sister Sabrina was always jealous of her. Everything changed when Nathan moved in next door.

I guiltily continued to the girls change rooms, still shaken from my amazing yet unexpected encounter with Nathan. I kept thinking about Sabrina. She is my sister, we have never really been close but I owe it to her to be honest. Telling her would destroy her though. Maybe I could just wait until she was over him and then tell her. Would that soften the blow? I entered the change rooms and trotted into one of the stalls to change. I walked out of the stall after getting into my horrible dark puke green PE uniform. Unfortunately it clashed horribly with my midnight black hair. I left the change room quickly after looking at the clock in above the mirror I was standing in front of and seeing I only had a few minutes to get to class. Halfway through being forced to run(walk, then run when the teacher glared at you) what seemed like an endless amount of laps. I realised I had left my bag in the change rooms. After class I went straight to the change rooms, into the stall I had changed in a phew my bag was there. I let out a sigh of relief and got changed into my normal clothes. I went through the rest of my classes contemplating whether to tell Sabrina about me and Nathan. As I walked out of school I grabbed my phone out of my bag to check my messages. I only had one. It was from Sabrina, it was a simple "ok" That's strange, I never sent her anything. I checked my message history and there it was, a text from me to Sabrina. It read " meet me at Wellhead park at 3:30. We need to talk. " I didnt send that text! It was already 3:25 so I caught the first bus to Wellhead park. Wellhead park was a small and lonely park just outside town. No one ever went there anymore. It used to be filled with beautiful trees, plants and flowers but ever since a group of idiots went through and ripped everything up it has been completely deserted. The closest bus stop was a 5 minute walk from the park itself. When I got off the bus I checked my phone and saw that it was 3:45. I sprinted to the park. When I got there it was eerily silent. I called out for Sabrina but heard no answer. Again I called out while searching the park. "Sabrina? Sabrina! SABRINA!" I screamed out, my heart pounding through my chest. I scramble over a dead bush screaming for my sister. Then I saw it a pale, brunette body. I gasped for air, running over to the limp remains of my dead sister.
