Catching Feelings (a Justin Bieber fanfic)

Justin and Anissa had been best friends ever since they were small. They had pretty much grown up together. But when Justin and Selena Gomez begin dating, their friendship is in danger. So Justin decides that Anissa should go live with him. But was that really the right decision? Or would it just bring problems for everyone?

5. The Party

 Anissa's P.O.V.

For the first time ever in LA, I woke up in a peaceful manner; with no one yelling in my ear or jumping on my bed. I thought about everything that had happened in just the two days I had been here. There were so many things running through my head, that I almost wanted to go back home - almost. But if things got worse, I would probably have to leave, I guess I could only hope for the best. After drifting my mind away from the subject, I smiled to myself in excitement at the thought of the party tonight.

When I was done thinking deeply about my life, I finally got out of bed and got in to the shower. After my sower, I brushed and blow dried my hair and slipped into the dress that I had bought the day before, it was black from the top and tan from the bottom. I then applied make up and when I was done, I decided to curl my hair. It took me about two hours to get ready, and then I walked down stairs.

"Hey, need help decorating?" I asked Justin as soon as I spotted him.

"Wow, you look beautiful," He replied, and for some strange reason, I felt myself blushing. "But, nah don't worry, I'm almost done with everything," He continued. "Oh, but I want to show you something, here come with me." He said, taking me by the hand.

He was taking me to the garage, and as we walked in there, I could not believe my eyes! A beautiful black car was parked right before my eyes.

"It's yours," Justin said, as he placed the car keys in my hand.

"Oh my God Justin! It's beautiful! Thank you so much I love you!" I yelled in excitement, hugging him tightlly.

"I'm glad you like it, now let's go back inside bacause it's kind of chilly out here!"

"Haha okay," I replied.

"I'll go finish decorating now," He said.

"Kk," I said before walking off to the kitchen, man I was starving!

As I finished my big bowl of cereal, Justin walked in to the kitchen.

"Hey, I'm done setting everything up. I'll just go take a quick shower and get ready now. I'm sure everyone will be arriving in an hour or so," He informed me.

"Okay," I replied, as I got up to wash my dish. "And Justin," I said as he turned around to walk away.

"Yeah?" He answered, turning back to face me.

"Thank you for everything," I said, in all honesty.

"No problem, you know there's nothing I wouldn't do for you," He responded, giving me a gentle smile. He then walked away to go get ready for the party, and I just sat down in the living room to watch t.v.

As I still sat there after about an hour of watching t.v., my cell phone started ringing.

"Hey mom!" I answered, after reading the caller ID.

"Hey honey, how are you?"

"Great! What about you?" I replied, then I heard the dorbell ring. I got up to open it, but the heard Justin behind me.

"I'll get it," He said.

"Okay, I'll go upstairs to talk to my mom." I told him.

He nodded, then opened the door as I walked upstairs to my room.

I had been catching up with my mom for almost an hour, when I told her about Selena's jelousy towards me.

"Baby girl," She said, "You have to understand that it might not be too easy for her to see you and Justin together, especially since you two have such a strong relationship."

"I know, but I really think she's over exaggerating."

"Do you really? Because you've got to keep in mind that you and Justin are really close, and maybe that's what bothers her."

"Yes we are really close, but I only see him as a brother." I explained.

"Are you sure?" She asked doubtfully.

"Mom, of course I'm sure."

"Honey, sometimes things happen, things that go beyond our understandments. And sometimes your feelings are what are most complex and difficult to understand. But you've got to realize what you really feel, and do something about it, before it's too late."

"What exactly are you trying to say?" I asked a bit confused.

"Think about it, then you'll know what I'm talking about, once you clear your emotions. I've got to go now and your dad is still at work so he'll probably call you tomorrow."

"Okay, bye mom."

"Bye, sweetheart."

I ended the call, and thought about what she had just told me. Nothing really made sence, I mean my emotions were crystal clear to me.

"Hey," Justin said, walking into my room, "There's a lot of people out there already, you coming?"

"Of course," I said, smiling as we both walked down stairs.

The energy in this place was incredible! The music was so loud, there was lights of every color, and everyone was dancing. There was a lot of people in this place, no one I really knew. But that didn't matter, Justin introduced me to a group of girls and we started dancing. He had to go though, to meet up with Selena.

"Do you want a drink?" One of the girls asked me, as we sat down to rest a bit. I didn't remember her name, but she was really nice.

"Oh no, I don't really drink a lot."

"Come on, just one cup," She insisted.

"Fine," I gave in. I didn't drink very often, but the occation called for it.

After a couple cups, I had even more energy than before, but I left to go use the restroom.

As I walked out of the restroom, the hall was empty, because everyone was out there dancing, but there was one person there. It was Selena, and she looked as if she had been waiting for me.

"I need to talk to you," She said.

"If this is about your crazy jelousy, forget it!"

"Why? because you don't want to admit that you're in love with Justin?"

I didn't reply.

"Go ahead, speak! Admit that you love Justin, bacause I know you do!"

I stayed quiet again.

"You know what? There is no need for you to admit anything, your silence says it all. And you probably don't want to say anything because you know Justin would never look at you like that."

My eyes were suddenly drowned in tears, but I still didn't say a word.

"You know, there's just one thing I don't understand," She continued, "What was your whole point of moving in with Justin? Did you want to make him fall in love with you? Did you want to take him away from me? Well, just so you know, I love him! I really do, and I am not about to let him go for anyone, especially not you!" She yelled.

"Shut up!" I said, I had heard enough of her and I would not let her insult me again. "You have no idea what you're talking about!" I continued.

"Don't deny it! Don't you dare try to lie to me!"

"Okay, well you know what?! Yes, it's true I love Justin!" I finally admitted to her, and to myself as well. "But I wasn't planning on doing anything about it! I hadn't even realized I was in love with him till now!" I said, crying. I had more than a couple cups on me, but I was sober enough to understand what I was saying.

"Don't give me that bullsh*t! Don't try to make yourself seem innocent, because you're not!"

"What is going on in here?!" Justin demanded to know, as he walked in on our argument.

I looked him straight in the eye, and tried to speak, but it was no use, absolutely no words came out! No, I couldn't do this! I was not brave enough to let Justin know that his best friend was in love with him! Unsure of what to do next, I ran. I ran out of there as fast as I could, wiping away the tears on my face, but it was useless because more and more kept streaming down my face. I heard Justin calling out my name behind me, but I didn't bother to turn back, I only ran faster.

On my way out, I grabbed the keys to the car that Justin had just bought me. I ran to the car, and drived away quickly. I knew it probably wasn't a good idea since I had been drinking and I was a total wreck with my vision blury from all the tears, but I did it anyway.

I had no idea where I was going, but I only wanted to go home, that was it. I couldn't see the road clearly, but as I was driving so fast, I almost crashed into the car infront of me. When I realized what was about to happen, I quickly turned left. I didn't want to die, no this couldn't happen! My heart was pounding in my chest, and I tried to hit the brakes but it was too late. The car slammed into the side of some kind of factory. It all happened so fast and I was terrified. I came to a violent stop and my whole body ached in pain, but in matter of seconds, I felt everything go pitch black.
