Love at first sight {One Direction}

I never thought a normal trip to the city centre would be the thing that changed my entire life. I never thought it was going to be the reason I had to drop out of college, getting new friends, travel the world and feeling loved for real. I never thought it would be the reason for me to get 7 new best friends and for me to lose the people I grew up with.
All that because you knocked on the wrong door and seduced me with your bright shining blue eyes. Dear Mr. Horan, you were my love at first sight.

My mum and I spoke a lot for the days I was staying with her; she was being really supportive and a really good friend to me. All of the friends from home kept calling me and asking me if I was okay and wanted to know what had been going on. Everyone knew after the dinner they had, had the other day where I didn’t go, and of course Abby knew. She knew it before anyone else as she was with me at the hospital.

Liam: Do you wanna go out and have coffee when you come home?

Dina: Sorry Liam, I’m just really exhausted today. Can we do it sometime next week?

Liam: Sure… I just miss hanging out with you.

Dina: Why don’t you just speak with Niall about picking me up instead then?

Liam: I could do that…

Dina: you can, but you’ll have to hurry because he’s leaving home in about 15 minutes or something like that.

Liam: Sure I’ll do it straight away… see you soon sweetie.

Dina: see you.

I hung up and looked around while playing with my hair. I had already packed all of my things to go back home.

My mum came in and sat down beside me.

Dina: Ma? Do you really think I can do this?

Jeanette: Do what?

Dina: Manage being pregnant… I don’t have a job, and Niall is working a lot all the time, and people will ask questions. I mean I’ve had a couple of model jobs, but they wouldn’t want me to do photo shoots when I’m pregnant….

Jeanette: Sweetie, you’re beautiful and they will understand that what’s happened is a mistake. You will be fine, beside you have so many things that you’re good at. Why don’t you focus on that?

Dina: Because I don’t know what I wanna do with my life mum…

Jeanette: You have so many talents Dina… you can sing, play guitar, paint, speaks 3 different languages and you’re modelling as well… use it all. Be you!

I put my hand on my stomach and looked down at my bump.

Dina: You’re probably right…

Jeanette: As you’ve said, I’ve been there myself.

Dina: yeah…

We spoke until there was a knock on the door and I got up and opened. Liam stood outside holding his car keys in his hands.

Dina: Liam! Hey.

I stood up on the tip of my toe and hugged him and pecked his cheek.

Dina: Come on in.

Liam walked inside and stood with his keys in his hands and a half open jacket. He just stood there awkwardly placed in the living room as I walked into my room and got my bag. Liam came in behind me and looked around.

Liam: It was some crazy days we spent in here.

Dina: Yeah but I guess that’s all gonna change now.

Liam: Yeah…

I looked around my room that had the baby blue colour and the posters and pictures hanging on my wall. There were a couple of poster of the boys and other bands that I heard, but it was nothing more than 6-7 posters. The rest was pictures of memories, parties, the meeting with the boys, paparazzi pictures, and best of all, all of my personal pictures from my life before and after. I had changed a lot and I had grown a lot. I looked at the picture of Melanie, Abby and I that I still had on the wall, there were all sorts of pictures of us together. In the middle of all the pictures it said “summer of 2011 – the time of our lives” I smiled at this I honestly wish I was back.

Liam: you okay?

Dina: Yeah, just easily getting emotional lately.

Liam: It’s okay Dina.

Dina: No it’s not Liam. So many things have happened through the past 1.5 year and it’s been a really crazy journey for me, and look what I was running from last summer. Look how much fun we used to have before her mum passed away…

He looked at the pictures and he recognized the smile on the face.

Liam: Never regret anything that made you smile.

Dina: I don’t regret anything. I love my new life, but it’s different and sometimes I honestly wish that I could just go back to this summer.

Liam: Yeah I know the feeling.

Dina: Don’t you sometimes just get tired of all the screaming and wanna go back home to Wolverhampton and just sit back down and do nothing.

Liam:  Of course, but I love the life I have now.

Dina: yeah…

Liam: But it’s okay to miss all of this Dina, that’s why we’re going back to it sometimes.

We went out of the room shortly after and said goodbye to my mum before we drove back home to London.

Liam: BTW we’re going to Harrods before we’re going home to the flats.

Dina: What?! Why? I’m not properly dressed for shopping right now Liam!

Liam: I promised Niall that I would help you find a dress, he has a surprise for you, and he wants you to get a dress that covers up the sight of your stomach for the paparazzi but is still fancy enough to go to one of his favourite restaurants.

Dina: You can’t be serious.

Liam: I am! Eleanor is meeting us there. She’s going to help you pick the dress and cover you up for the paparazzi.

Dina: Liam I’m not in the mood for these games.

Liam: It’s not a game, it’s an order.

I sat back in the seat and was a bit grumpy. I really didn’t want to do this. Liam dropped me off at Harrods where I shortly after found Eleanor and we went into the store. We were looking through so many dresses and I was about to give up after hours of looking and trying on. I didn’t want anyone to see my stomach so I had to find something that was really puffy from the chest and down.

After about 2 hours Eleanor found this really beautiful baby blue cocktail dress with no sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. It was perfect and it fit me perfectly. We went to pay for the dress and wasn’t seen buy anyone. Before we left Harrods we went into the shoe section where I fell in love with a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo – Tina C pump. They were so comfortable to wear that I didn’t even want to take them off.

We went to pay the shoes and then went back to the apartment.

Eleanor and I were having tea in the living room. Niall had only just said hello when we arrived and then he had gone out. He hadn’t come back yet and I was started to get really nosy about what was going on.

Dina: I’m guessing none of you is going to tell me what’s going on around here?

Eleanor: Then you’ve guessed right.

She smiled at me before taking another sip of her tea.

Eleanor: all I can tell you is that I was asked to take you to Louis’ flat to make you ready for tonight. So that’s what I’m going to do. We’ll be leaving soon with all of your stuff. So be ready for a wonderful day.

I smiled back at her but was even more nervous. What was everyone doing? And why were they acting so God damn odd?!
