Love at first sight {One Direction}

I never thought a normal trip to the city centre would be the thing that changed my entire life. I never thought it was going to be the reason I had to drop out of college, getting new friends, travel the world and feeling loved for real. I never thought it would be the reason for me to get 7 new best friends and for me to lose the people I grew up with.
All that because you knocked on the wrong door and seduced me with your bright shining blue eyes. Dear Mr. Horan, you were my love at first sight.

23. 23

I saw the paparazzi snap some pictures of Niall and I, as we entered the café shortly after Louis and Eleanor.

Dina: Lou!

I smiled as soon as I saw him, and came up to hug him. He slowly let go of Eleanor, whom a recognized from all of the pictures I had seen of her and Louis, through the past year.

Louis: Hey.

He gave me a little squeeze, but nothing like when we just the boys and I together. He kinda seemed so much mature, and then yet he was still that little kid on the inside.

Louis: Dina this is Eleanor.

Louis gestured towards the beautiful girl who was standing right behind him.

Dina: It’s a pleasure to meet you.

I said as I shook her hand and gave her my most beautiful smile.

Eleanor: Aww you too sweetie.

She leaned and gave me a quick hug before greeting Niall. We went to the table after each getting a coffee and sat down.

We were in the café for more than an hour, El and I were speaking a lot, and it seemed as if the boys really enjoyed that we got along so well. What I found funny about El was that she kinda reminded me of a girly version of Louis, and even though she was 2 years older than me, we still laughed at the same things and had a really nice time together.

Dina: So you’re really staying here all the time?

Eleanor: Yeah partly, but my university is in Manchester. So I spend a lot of time up there as well.

Dina: Yeah I guessed. It would have been nice to have someone close to me that treated me as a normal human though.

Eleanor: They’ll get used to it soon. Trust me it’s not that bad after all.

Dina: Really?

Eleanor: Really. They become really supportive at one point, as long as you’re not the one to brag about it. Just act casual and fine, and be you.

Dina: wow, seems so easy.

Eleanor: It really is if you work for it.

She smiled at me as I took another sip of my coffee, but the taste of it had changed it was kinda like someone had put cinnamon in it. I quickly looked at both Louis and Niall who had trouble hiding their laughing because of the look on my face.

Dina: Louis?

He just looked away and continued laughing. Apparently Niall and him had put cinnamon and sugar in my coffee as I had been really busy speaking with Eleanor.

Louis: I didn’t do it.

He tried to have a serious face, but neither of us could stop laughing, because honestly it was kinda funny. After a long talk and another hour at the café we decided to leave. El and I exchanged phone numbers, so we could meet up while the boys would be in America.

Dina: It was really nice meeting you, and Louis! I hope to see you before you leave Thursday.

Louis: I will definitely come by and say goodbye to you.

Dina: Good!

We hugged each other and then went back to our own cars. Niall was taking me back to his flat, but I had to go home soon, as my mum had texted me a couple of times.

Niall: who are you texting all the time?

We had just arrived back at his place and were both sitting on the couch.

Dina: My mum, she wants me to come home for dinner… alone…

Niall: Wait what? So I can’t come with you?

Dina: I guess not. But we can meet up later?

Niall: Harry, Liam and I wanted to go out, but I guess you can come?

Dina: I’d love to. Is it a party?

Niall: You bet.

He smiled cheekily at me and kissed me just as I received another text.

Dina: OMG…

Niall: She’s your mum. She’s just worried.

Dina: Yeah but it’s still annoying. Can you take me home?

Niall: Yeah sure?

Dina: Thanks babe.

I kissed him on the cheek as I got up and found my presents and my bag. We went outside and got inside of his car as my mum called me.

Dina: Speaking?

Jeanette: Are you coming home or what? It’s 6pm!

Dina: I know mum, sorry. I was out for coffee with Niall, Louis and Eleanor, Louis’s girlfriend, and I just had to get back and pack my stuff, Niall’s taking me now. We’re in the car already.

Jeanette: Good I’ll start the dinner then.

Dina: Great. I’ll be there in about an hour, and btw Harry’s picking me up at 10, we’re heading to the club tonight. The boys wanna celebrate my birthday a little late.

Jeanette: We’ll talk about it when you come home.

Dina: Mum I’m 18 there’s nothing much to talk about.

Jeanette: As I said, we’ll talk about it when you get home.

She hung up after that I just stared confused at my phone.

Niall: What’s wrong?

Dina: She seemed strange. I think there might have been something in the news about us. She’s only like this when my face appears in the magazines and stuff.

Niall: oh…

Dina: It’s gonna be okay. She can’t tell me what to do and not to do. I’m 18.

Niall: yeah but she’s still your mum babe.

Dina: I know, but what I do and who I date is none of her business.

Niall: I guess…

Dina: I don’t get why my parents have to be like this. We’ve been going out for a month and it’s not like just because one of them tells me to dumb you that I’m going to do it.

Niall: I know. Just calm down sweetie. It’s probably not as bad as you think.

He smiled at me shortly and took my hand from my lap and held it. The feeling of his hand holding mine was the piece that kept me together and took away my thought about what was going on.
