A Not-So Cinderella Story

When I felt like I was being swept off my feet in a Cinderella story, someone had to be there to drop me, right?
Let's backtrack a little.
Cher Topman. A simple name for a complex girl like me. I'm an orphan at a little orphanage in London, but don't be fooled. Just because it's in London doesn't mean that it's extravagant.
When a rich American single woman makes the fatal decision to adopt me and take me back to America, my life is turned upside down by some people I never thought I'd meet.

10. The Dream.

"Come on, don't be scared," Justin smile and holds out his hand.

"But I am, Justin. I don't want to get hurt," I try and say, but the words won't come out of my mouth. On an impulse decision, I reach for his hand, but it's farther away now. Then I'm surrounded by magazines and reporters.

"What does it feel like to be dumped by the famous Justin Bieber?" one shouts at me.

"How could you even think he'd like you? Everyone knows who he is. He's a player. He doesn't even care about you. He just likes the thrill of the chase," one shouts. That was the last one I heard before the voices shouted all at once, and I was surrounded by doubt and hate and negativity. It was pushing down on me and crowding me in until I fall to my knees and get consumed by it all.

And then I woke up.
