Graces POV

I waited for Liam to show up. I checked my phone in my little purse, that matched my dress. '6:15' it read. He lived next door, how could it take him so long?
"Hey guys, I'm going over the the boys to see Liam," I said, walking into the living room. "He was supposed to pick me up fifteen minutes ago."
"Go get 'em, tiger," Reilly said expressionless, not taking her eyes off the Four Weddings show she was watching with Teresa. I walked out the door and across the yard to the boys' house. I rung the door bell and waited. Niall answered.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Niall asked.
"Oh, Liam and I were going to get together and do something tonight and I was just, coming over to..." I half-whispered half-said, trailing off at the end of the sentence.
".....see him?" Niall finished. I nodded. "He's up in room." he let me in the beautiful house and I walked up the stairs. I slowly opened the door of his room and took a deep breath.

Liam's POV

I was sitting in front of the little mirror, getting ready to see Grace. I needed to look perfect. Grace was really insecure about herself and she seemed to not like being alone with the guys ever sense Alex. I spiked my hair up at the top so it went in different directions. I looked at my watch to see what time it was. '6:15' oh, crap! I was supposed to pick her up fifteen minutes ago! I turned around in my chair to go downstairs when I saw the door halfway opened and Grace was standing in the doorway, smiling with her head pretty far down. I though she was gorgeous with sweatpants and a tee shirt on, but now, my mind was going crazy. she was stunning. amazing. fabulous. words couldn't describe how I felt.

"Hey, uhm, Niall let me in...." she said, slowly coming to the room and closing the door behind her.

"Hey, hon, sorry, I'm not really ready yet, here let me get some clothes...." I said, opening my walk in closet. "what happened to that shirt....." I said shuffling through my hangers with clothes on them. Grace walked over and put her hand on my shoulder, and took the shirt off the rack. She smiled.
"This one?" she asked, jokingly.
"Yes," I said, taking the hanger. we walked out of the closet and she walked over to the door of my room.
"here, Ill leave you alone for a second here...." she said, turning the doorknob.
"No," I said, almost too quickly and too harshly. "I trust you and I can't stand not being without you."
"Oh, sorry!" she said in a sarcastic tone. She was finally coming out of her shell and I was loving every moment of it. she sat down on my bed. she picked up a crumbled ball of paper on top of the blanket as I pulled my tee shirt over my head. she picked apart the ball and smoothed out the paper.
"kick me....." she whispered under her breath, reading the paper. I tugged the shirt over my head and sat down next to her and smoothing my shirt down. I wrapped my right arm around her.
"Honey, what's this?" she asked very quietly and slowly, obviously hurt.
"Sorry, baby, I was, just, um, bullied a lot in school." I said, quickly, taking the paper from her an throwing it away. I saw her hang her head and her face get red, and her face drop. I wrapped both of my arms around her and I saw a tear stream down her face. I cupped her face in my hands, looking into her beautiful hazel eyes. I couldn't stand seeing her like this.
"Honey, don't worry, I'm okay," I said, wiping a tear from her cheek with my thumb. "You don't need to worry, honey. Im alright. Everything is okay now."

"But-but why?" she asked, so quitely I had to lean in to hear her. I wrapped my arms around her tighter, bringing her closer to me.

"I don't know, baby. But it's all over now. I don't have to see them ever again. I'll go to school with you. it will be all better. don't worry." I was close to tears now. she ran her fingers through my hair. we pulled apart slightly and I kissed her gently on the cheek. I was concerned for her. We looked at each other in the eye. I couldn't take it.

"You're beautiful." I said. I meant it, too. she was the best thing that has ever happened to me.
"Your-your-your handsome...." she said very quietly again, barely getting the words out or moving her lips. I could tell she meant it through those few words, though.

"C'mon, let's go somewhere!" I said, jumping up off the bed, trying to cheer her up. I looked at her face. "Or we can just stay here and hang out down stairs, if that's what you want!" I said. I just wanted Grace to be happy.

"It doesn't matter...." she said, getting closer and closer to her normal self.

"Do you want to watch a movie downstairs? I can kick the boys out and it will just be us....." I said. She shrugged.
"I donno, I guess." she said, looking up from her lap, so I could see her gorgeous face.
"C'mon, lets go," I said, taking her hand and leading her down the stairs. the boys were sprawled out on on the floor and the couch.
"Liam! we're ya been?" Louis asked excitedly from underneath a few blankets, sitting up.
"Oh, um, I was upstairs with Grace." I said, and the boys turned around. Grace put on a fake smile. I squeezed her hand a pushed a lock of hair out of her face. she blushed.
"We were, um, going to watch a movie." I said, trying to drop a hint to the boys to get out. they didn't take it.
"Ooh! can we watch??" Harry asked as the boys jumped up on the couch like little kids.
"Uhm....." I looked at Grace. she was smiling for real, now. "Sure. Move over!" I said, sitting next to Harry on the end.  Grace looked at me and smiled. I probably looked like a dork. "C'mon! Join the fun!" I said, laying across his lap.

"What the hell, man?" Harry asked, laughing.
"Harry! Language!" Grace said, now giggling, and sitting criss cross on the floor by the coffee table. We all started laughing even more.
"DOG PILE!" Louis shouted as he jumped onto Harry.
"G-Grace! Help!" Harry shouted, struggling to get us off of him, all of us still laughing."
"Ha ha, no thanks. You guys want drinks?" she said, walking into the kitchen.

Graces POV

I walked into the kitchen. Niall followed me. I grabbed cups from the cabinet and put them on the counter. The boys were still laughing in the other room, and I couldn't help but to smile. Niall
opened the refrigerator and took out a two-liter bottle of pop.
"Were running out so all we have is water and coke," he said, about to open the coke, his hand on the lid.
"Woah woah woah, did you shake it up?" I asked, warningly.
"Ya, aren't you supposed to?" Niall asked, giving me a look and opening the bottle.
"n-," I began, but coke sprayed everywhere. it came bubbling out of the bottle and covered anything within 3 yards of it. Niall and I were soaked with the sticky liquid and the rest of the boys ran in. my hair was a mess and so was Niall's. Louis began to laugh at us. I grinned. Niall began laughing, and soon we all couldnt take it, we were laughing so hard.
"Does someone need a hug??" Niall asked, flinging his arms around Harry. Harry was laughing and trying to free himself from a sticky Horan Hug. I looked at Liam, who was laughing. We leaned in and he gave me a peck on the lips, sending another spark through my body. We pulled away.  Liam grinned from ear to ear. "Mmm, coke!" he said, taking my hand and laughing with the boys. We finally calmed down ten minutes later and everyone sat down on the couch except Niall and I.
"I'm going across the street to take a shower. You guys have fun cleaning that up," I said, slipping my shoes on and walking out the door.
