11. Going On A Date

Niall’s Point of View

One minute ago I was mad at Amber for even considering inviting Zoe over, but it was my fault. I should have mentioned Zoe, considering she had followed me to London. Though, now, with Amber in my arms, I relaxed. I had forgotten how much I had missed her. This was the first time we had alone since I came home, two days ago.

Wordlessly I moved her to the couch. “I came home as an early Christmas present, for you,” I started off by saying. “We should have some fun together… plan the wedding, and go on dates every night to make up for lost time. How does that sound? I even heard Little Mix is performing Christmas Eve, and I got us some front-row seats, the rest of the boys will be there, along with El, and then, we’ll have a party with Little Mix, and I bet it would be cool if they all came to sleep over here. Then, in the morning we can open up presents.”

“Okay…” Amber replied, her voice almost muffled by my shirt. “I’m just soooo sorry, Niall. I had no clue!”

“It’s okay… it’s my fault, I should have told you beforehand.” I tried to comfort her, as she was crying. "I should have told you, Amber…” I repeated every comforting thing I could think of before she calmed down. I could tell, that she felt awfully bad. “How about we go to dinner tonight?” I asked her as she sat up and wiped her tears on sleeves.

                “Okay…” Amber whispered. “Thanks, Nialler.”

“Anytime.” I smiled. “Go have a shower, and be ready to leave in an hour,” I instructed and Amber listened.

I had to go get ready, but it’s not like I had to apply makeup and all that other stuff, but I forced myself to get my butt of the couch and find some clothes.

“Make sure you dress up!” I yelled as I banged on the master bedroom door to make sure Amber heard. I then made my way towards the spare bedroom I had called mine. I chose out a white polo tee-shirt, a pair of jeans which looked pretty good and a jacket which dressed everything up. I jumped in the shower connecting to the spare bedroom,  and after that got dressed. I decided to blow-dry my hair and stick it up with gel, it took me a while to perfect it, but I eventually got it. Next, I brushed my teeth, put on a gold watch I had bought once I was engaged to Amber. Soon, I was ready to go, I slipped on my shoes and waited in the living room for Amber.

Still, I had no clue where to take Amber. I guess it would be a surprise for me as well. I was in the mood for Nandos… but that was just too typical. I went to my phone, and typed in fancy restaurants in Google. There were a few that caught my eye, but I decided on the Ivy Garden. It looked good enough by its review. I looked up from my phone to see Amber come down the stairs. She looked stunningly beautiful with dress that tightly fit her body perfectly. The dress was black, and went up to her knees. Her hair was straightened, and she was wearing tall black, high heels. The only flaw I saw was her makeup. I didn’t like it when she wore soo much, but I didn’t want to offend her so I went up to her and linked my arm in hers.

“You look very beautiful tonight,” I complimented her as we walked out of the house, locked the door and headed to the garage. I had two fancy cars, and I led her to the fanciest. It didn’t have a roof, and was bright red which complimented her dress.

We drove in silence, both enjoying each others company, she didn’t once ask where we were going, I guess she was assuming Nandos. She was going to be surprised when I drove up to a fancy restaurant!

I drove up to the restaurant, Amber didn’t say anything, but by her body language I knew that she was astonished. We parked, and then got out of the car. Inside, it was a beautiful place, and since I was famous, we didn’t have to wait for a seat. We got led to a table in the back of the restaurant, which was private.

“Wow… i… I don’t know what to say,” Amber eventually said after going over the menu. “This… this place is beautiful… I was expecting Nandos, you know?”

“I knew you were,” I smiled. “But, you don’t have to say a thing. I will pay for everything, and then after this we go wherever you say,” I promised, knowing that after being away for a few months we needed time to catch up on life.
