Dancin' Til We See The Sun

Mandie, a dancer from America, is just trying to find some work for her feet. But when she falls in love with a member of the band she's trying to work for, things could be really good, or really bad.

10. Before My Eyes

Mandie's P.OV.

Eleanor and I finished shopping earlier than I thought, so we went to Starbucks and got frappucinos. "So how are things going with Liam?" she asked.

"Good. He was acting a little weird this morning though. Like he was quick to get out of the apartment," I said. She nodded.

"Yeah. Louis said he was going to meet up with the guys. I have no idea what they are doing though," she said, lifting her drink to her lips. "Do you want to go back to mine and Louis' apartment to watch some movies? I'm not sure how soon the guys are going to get done," Eleanor said.

"Or we could go get Cloe and take her to dinner," I said.

"Sure! Let's go get her. But can we go by my place first? I want to go get changed first," she said. I agreed and we left the coffee shop and got into her Mini Cooper. We sang along to the radio and rolled down the windows. We pulled into the driveway and saw Louis' car.

"Oh Louis is home. Let's just make this quick," she said. We walked up to the door and went inside, leaving our shoes by the door. "Be right back." She dashed up the stairs and left me alone in the foyer. Someone turned out the lights and I felt someone take my hands and pull me into a different room. There were lots of candles and flowers and mirrors. I could see myself from every angle. I froze, shaking, and felt the tears coming on. Liam was holding onto my waist, and looking into my eyes, pulling me closer and holding me tighter as I started to cry. I turned around to sob into his shoulder, and felt him kiss my head, cheeks, eyes, lips. Every part of me.

Then he started humming. I had to think but I recognized it. It was Little Things. He started singing it and I tried to stop crying. He was doing all this for me. To make me feel beautiful. I had never been told I was before, other than from my Grandma or friends. It was a weird feeling. Like knowing that someone cares. He stopped singing and took my hand, leading me to one of the mirrors.

"What do you see?" asked Liam, standing behind me.

"A lot of things I hate... and you," I said.

"Why do you feel like that Mandie? You don't realize how beautiful you are, especially to me," he said, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I just don't. I used to but stopped,"I said.

"Why did you stop hun?"

"My ex made me feel like I was never good enough. He would always point out my flaws like I would just change them. But I couldn't. I went crazy after he broke up with me. He said I was a waste of his time and that I was worthless and ugly and... other things. I almost killed myself. That's why I got the tattoo on my ribs. I read it and it kept me from doing anything harmful. I just have a long ways to go," I said. He turned me around, and looked me straight in the eyes.

"He was an idiot for saying that to you and letting you go, but I'm glad he let you slip away because you're mine now, and you are beautiful. But I swear if I ever meet him, I might not be able to control myself," he said. I kissed his chin and hugged him.

"I love you Liam."

"I love you too Mandie."

Liam's P.O.V.

I stood in the middle of Louis's living room, holding Mandie, until Louis walked in and joined our little hug.

"Hey Lou," we said.

"Hey you lovebirds," he said. The other boys walked in and joined the little hug.

"Can we order some food?" Niall said. We all unwrapped ourselves, but Mandie kept her hand in mine. And it fit perfectly there. Louis grabbed a takeout menu from the kitchen and we all sat in a circle on the floor, deciding on what we all wanted. Mandie and Niall took five minutes, because they couldn't decide on one thing. We sat in the living room while Louis ordered, Niall with a guitar in hand and a lazy, relaxed feel.

"So, Mandie, are you going to take Zayn and I up on our little deal?" Harry asked. Zayn laughed.

"What are you talking about?" Mandie asked.

"You agreed to get matching tattoos with Haz and I," Zayn said, smiling.

"Oh... okay. Name a time and place," she said. We all looked at her shocked. "What?"

"Really? No arguing, convincing, second guesses?" Zayn asked. She shook her head.

"No. I like getting them. And how many people can say that they have a tattoo that matches two of the most famous people in the world?" Mandie said.

Louis walked back in. "Wait, she's gonna do it? Aren't we a badass?" he said.

"Oh yeah, that's me, such a rebel," she said, turning to look at me. "Hold on a second Mister Sensible.  Why aren't you trying to talk me out of this?"

"Tattoos are a turn on for him," Niall said, strumming away. "I almost started laughing when we saw your first one and thought he hated them." Mandie giggled at this.

"Yeah, if you get another one he won't be able to keep his hands off you," Louis said, walking in. He sat down next to Eleanor and wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close and kissing her.

"It wouldn't change anything," I said, looking at my girlfriend sitting next to me. She looked up at me,  smiling and laughing.

"I wouldn't say that Liam. You never know. She could get a ton just to drive you mad," Zayn said. We all laughed at this.

"So Mandie, do you want to go get it now?" Harry asked, rolling up his sleeves and smirking, challenging her.

"Let's do it," she said, smiling across the room at him.

"Wait, what about the food?" Niall asked.

This is actually my sister's fanfic. She is just writing it on my account. If this one isn't updated often, it's because she is a senior in high school and is busy with dance and cheerleading. Also, she will be writing a ton of chapters, but will be inactive for a while, since she is going to Texas to dance in a bowl game. Just letting you all know.
