The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight.

There were so many ways it could have all turned out differently.
Or maybe it wouldn't have mattered maybe it was just meant to be. Maybe just maybe it was fate.

9. Landing

   Cassie's POV

Liam put a reassuring arm around me as I plugged my iPod into my ears so I could listen to my music, and he said, "It's alright love I'm here and you can hold my hand the whole time."

"Thanks." I replied nervously. But, hey I guess landing couldn't be so bad if I get to have Liam comforting me the whole time.

The plane was descending and we were about to hit the run way my least favorite part. I tensed up and I knew that Liam could tell. He turned me to face him and said, "do you mind if I try something."

"I guess not I...." Then I was interrupted with a kiss I forgot everything that was going on and when we pulled away I had realized that we landed and I hadn't even noticed or cared. That was the best landing ever. I didn't freak out or anything.

     "Did it work?" He asked.

"That was the best landing ever and was the perfect distraction." I replied.

"Good I hoped it would work." He chuckled.

But then I realized that the flight was over and that I would probably never see him again. Then I got an idea.

     "Hey Liam."

"I have a question for you."

     "Okay shoot."

"So about my dad's wedding I  don't have a date and I wondered if you would go with me because I really don't want to go alone."

His face fell and I knew he couldn't come.

"I would love to come, but I can't because I have to meet the boys to do an interview before our concert tomorrow."

"Oh , it was a stupid question I should have known there was a reason for you to be going here anyway. i shouldn't have asked."

"No, you definitely should ask I really wish I could go with you, but I can't just blow off the interview."

"It's okay I understand. Well I guess we should go then." I looked around and saw that the other travelers were starting to exit Liam pulled my carry on down and handed it to me, "thanks" I said.

"No problem." Was his answer I grabbed my sweatshirt and filed in with the crowed figuring Liam was following me, but when I got into the airport and turned around he wasn't anywhere in sight. I waited for a couple of minutes sorting through the people that were filing into the airport but I couldn't find him anywhere. I caught a glimpse of a clock and saw that I only had two hours before the wedding and new that I had to get going or I would be late. So I grabbed my bags and walked out the front door in search of a cab trying to leave all of my thoughts about Liam behind me so I could just focus on getting to the wedding on time. But that is not as easy as it sounds.

     Liam's POV

I turned around to grab my stuff and noticed that her iPod and wedding invitation were on her seat I picked them up and turned back around and said, "Hey don't forget these." When I noticed that there wasn't anyone left on the plane. I picked up all of my stuff and her iPod and invite and sprinted for the airport entrance when I got in I looked everywhere trying to find her but she was nowhere in sight. I knew that I had to find her to give her her things back and I just really liked her and wanted to see her again. So I looked at the wedding invitation to find the address it looked like I was going to her fathers wedding after all.
