The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight.

There were so many ways it could have all turned out differently.
Or maybe it wouldn't have mattered maybe it was just meant to be. Maybe just maybe it was fate.

4. Boarding

    Cassie's POV

"Hey my flight is boarding in a half hour." I told him after I hung up with my mom.

"Really so does mine." He answered with a smile. "Where are you going?"

"London. How about you?" I asked. His face lit up with the biggest smile ever and I knew he was going on the same flight as me. I got excited immediately, but what were the chances that we were even sitting relatively close to each other. But I still hoped.

"I am going to London too. Are you going for vacation or something else."

"I have to go because my dad is getting remaried tomorrow and I am in the wedding, but I don't really want to go, and my dad was pestering me about finding a date to bring with me but i never found anyone and now I have to go alone." I paused registering that his smile grew a little bit at that. Is it possible that he actually liked me? " Why are you going are you going home or something else?" He chuckled and I worried I had assumed wrong and he didn't live there.

"I am going to stop by my house but that's not the only reason I am going." He said with a weird almost reluctant expression on his face.

"Oh really why else are you going?"

"It's a long story." His expression again seemed really reluctant to tell me why he was going and he seemed uncomfortable so I didn't push him. We walked back over to the gate and sat down. Then they started calling for some people to start boarding the plane. I was upset that I was about to have to leave him.

I got up and so did he he leaned in and for a second I wondered what he was about to do, but then he whispered in my ear. "It was really nice meeting you I had a good time even when you spilled coffee on me."

I smiled at him even though I was upset about leaving him and said, "I had a good time too, and don't forget it wasn't all my fault you ran into me too." He laughed and we went to get in line to board the plane. when we were almost at the front he realized he had left his sunglasses in the seat and said he would be right back and went to go get them. I tried to wait for him but the crowd pushed me forward and I lost him and had to board the plane.

But, I didn't even get to say good bye.

     Liam's POV

I ran back to the chair I was sitting in before and grabbed my sunglasses and slid them on, when I turned back around and searched the line for Cassie she was no where to be found. I sighed and got in line.

I didn't even get to say good bye.
