8. Who's we?

The taxi steered into a a long, winding driveway that lead to a remote-looking house. The building structure was stable and modern, an expense to the holder. I scanned the rest of the driveway as i slid from the seat and manoeuvred my way out of the taxi. I slammed the door shut and the other side shook as another door slammed. Louis walked forwards towards me and then walked alongside me to the front door.

"It was lucky you came into the taxi. At least we can help you."

"Who's we?" For the tenth time i asked this from which the only response i had previously received consisted of a tap on the nose, a shrug and definitive silence. My patience was running low as the tension inside me deepened. The impending issues began to make me shiver with fear.

Yet again Louis tapped his nose, gave a shrug and then ignored my question. He placed the key in the door lock, turned the brass door knob and shifted inside with me tagging along. The inside of the house was dark despite the mildly cloudy weather. I stood listening for Louis as i heard his footsteps become carried away further from me. His feet echoed loudly in the corridor. A quick flick of a switch was made and light suddenly filtered the corridor of the house. Everything was respectively clean and organised. I couldn't help but notice the expensive amentities surrounding the area in which i stood. A wooden oak table stood to my left, keys carelessly strewn across it. Picture frames sat on top too, their frames free from dust and polished to perfection.

I turned away as Louis walked towards me, staring into my eyes as he had done before; in the taxi. He moved closer and i felt a soft pressure on my hand as he held it and tugged me along gently with him into another room. There was a distinct smell of pizza and garlic. My senses came alive and i began to feel ashamed as my stomach made a loud growl as if it were a bear angry for not receiving it's meal. As Louis switched the next light on, i saw that in the room there was a stack of pizzas with garlic bread on the side of a large dish. My next realisation that came next really shocked me. Sat all huddled, yet also spralled out on a large, red leather sofa was Liam, Harry, Niall and Zayn. Each one of them stared up at me, looking me over; with the exception of Niall who took one glance and then dug into a large slice of pepperoni.

"Eliana" Louis said beside me. "The boys and i will try to keep you safe."
