5. Strange...

Eimer's POV

Something feels strange. You know that feeling you get when you feel as if something is going to go wrong some point throughout the day? I have that sort of feeling right now as I walk through the corridors of school. Then I realise all eyes are on me. Why? Have I got something stuck to the back of me? I haven't sat in chewing gum have I? Now that would be horribly embarrassing.

"What are you looking at?" I shout, having enough of people staring at me.

Everyone turns back to their friends like nothing had happened. Paige runs up to me stopping me just before I walk into our form room.

"Wow Eimer, you look amazing."

"Erm, thanks? Why the sudden compliment?"

"You look really different today, but in a good way. Are yo wearing more make up?"

I forgot, I kind of over done myself today by putting extra make up on and curling my hair. I want to impress Liam incase the thing is true and he does like me

"Yeah I am," I giggle.

"You look beautiful, well you always do, but you look stunning today!"

"Thanks Paige," I link my arm through hers and we skip into the classroom.

Chelsea smiles at us, but I don't think much of it.

Chelsea's POV

Why didnt she smile back? I'm trying to be friendly. Maybe I should try with Maria or Emma. Paige didnt even look at me.

Paige's POV

"Omg, Chelsea just smile at us, did you see?" Eimer asks me.

"No, she must have just had some sort of twitch. Maria!"

Maria joins us and Eimer tells her about Chelsea.

"You sure it wasn't just your imagination Eimer?"

"I'm sure, she definitely smiled."

We discuss it until the teache walks in.

"No more back chatting today Chelsea," he moans.

"No sir, I'm sorry sir."

"What's wrong with her today? She's acting strange?" I mutter to the others.

"She must be coming down with something and where Emma?" Maria looks confused.

"She's ill, she text me this morning saying she isn't coming in today," I say.

"Aw bless her, we will have to tell he everything about Chelsea tomorrow then." Eimer says as she stares at Chelsea intently.
