My Best Friend, Or My Boyfriend?

Now he's back in the UK, and meets Ariana who is oblivious to the fact that her old boyfriend Liam is now her best friend besides Lisa. Her new boyfriend isn't the happiest about Liam and the less time Ariana has been spending with him, and the more time she's been spending with Liam. 9. Take the dog out - NOW

"Hey, mom! I'm home!"

"Honey!" My mom said, walking in with Carter in her arms.

"Uh, mom? Why are you holding Carter?"

"Go check the kitchen."

I went, and almost cracked up, but I knew mom would kill me if I did. There was a BIG pee mess on the tiled floor.

"Mom, I am so sorry, I'll clean it up."

"Yes, you will. And then you'll take the dog out."

"K."

After I cleaned it up and sprayed fer-breeze every where, I crashed out on the couch for a stinkin' two minute break! but mom said, "Hon', take the dog out - NOW."

I muttered, "Whatever you want, your highness."

Thankfully she didn't hear me and I grabbed the leash and hooked it onto Carter's royal-blue collar, put on my chucks, and walked out the door.

Urgh! Of course, the last five minutes of my walk home it rained. "Perfect," I grumbled to myself.

After about 15 minutes it started to rain. Carter had already done his business and I disposed of it, and so now we were just walking for pleasure. "Great," I mumbled to myself. "Just great." I started to sprint towards the house. The rain came down harder. This was cool, but I'd be soaked to the sink by the time I got back to the house. The leash wrapped around my wrist, so that even if Carter tried to pull suddenly and I had let the leash go slack he wouldn't pull free, I ran towards the house.

I had to cross a street and I didn't realize that the was a puddle of water right in the middle of the road. I looked both ways, like my mom always told me too, and ran across.

My feet carrying me along fast, I ran across the street. My foot hit the puddle, and I slipped and fell. My head hit the ground, and I blacked out.
