Hallowed Demise

A poem describing what I depict fear to be on the most chilling night of the year...

1. Hallowed Demise

Shadows surge across frail limbs,

Perspiring, pulsing, woven,

Down one flight, losing all nine,

Perspiring, pulsing, stolen.

Nightgown ghoul, your small of back,

Perspiring, pulsing, notion,

Black up high, immersed orb’s light,

Perspiring, pulsing, broken.

Equal three in walls of peel,

Perspiring, pulsing, chosen,

Crooked mouth diverts it’s glow,

Perspiring, pulsing, spoken.

Breathing snarls, rage rabid soul,

Perspiring, pulsing, potion,

Bitter sweets and tricked revenge,

Perspiring, pulsing, golden.

Water coils and crimson swirls,

Perspiring, pulsing, motion,

Hollow eyes and hallow sound,

Perspiring, pulsing, frozen.
