2. Can I go?

Bridget's P.O.V

It took me forever to get there, but I managed to find a spot out of the entire lot. I get out of my minivan and begin to walk towards the front. It was 11:54. The festival starts in 6 minutes! I finally get into the building and find my way to my seat. This place is crowded with teenage girls, maybe even girl's my sister's age, ten years old. Maybe even younger. This is definitely going to be an interesting afternoon.

I sat down in my seat and waited for the performance to begin. It felt like forever until I checked the time. 12:10. The performance was suppose to start ten minutes ago. Well, another ten minutes of my life has been wasted already just by sitting here. That's just wonderful. I began texting Alissa. If this is going to happen for a while, I might as well talk to someone that I at least know. She didn't reply for a while. She must be with other girls doing something, possibly One Direction related, while I'm sitting here surrounded by a bunch of teenage and pre-teen girls waiting for this performance to end. But it hasn't even started yet!

It has been half an hour of sitting here in boredom and I was about ready to leave and come back for another performance. I was going to also see Jessie J, Mumford and Sons, Ellie Goulding, and Muse when their performance comes. But my sister and friends begged me to at least go see One Direction. I argued with them for a while but finally gave in. Now, thanks to them, I'm here.

Suddenly, I felt someone tap my shoulders. I turn around to see a guy in headphones, carrying a clipboard, and wearing an "Itunes Festival Crew" shirt. He must be a part of the crew or some sort, but whatever.

"Excuse me, miss. Do you mind coming with me for a moment?" He asked me.

"Umm... Okay." I answer. I get out of my seat, but I thought about something for a moment. "Should I bring my stuff?" I asked.

"It would be a good idea to." He answered. We left the stage area and went into an area that I've never seen before. There were many wires, microphones, and clothes. I was backstage of the festival.

I was looking all around until the stage guy caught me off gaurd. "So darling...Can you sing?"
