Right Here, Right Now

"Then I would take that star and make my wish come true."
My name is Olivia Carsons, and the past week has been pretty crazy for me. I met my favorite boy band, One Direction, I started dating Niall, and, well, too much happened. Even the worst thing, us finding out that my foster mother has cancer, has happened. But there is one thing that I fear. Niall and Louis, my childhood friend, still don't know that I promised to go with them to the Canfield Fair. If this can get any worse, what will happen if they find out? Does Louis have feelings for me? Do I have feelings for both of them? It all depends on what happens at the fair. (Second installment of The Start of Something New trilogy)

27. You need me, man I don't need you

We planned to have Annita's funeral in a few days. I left the hospital after Jake finished filling out the papers. I went home with Niall, who drove seperately from the others. All I did the whole ride home was stare off into space.

"Liv." He said snapping me back to reality. I look at him still depressed that Annita has just died and is no longer here. "Don't worry. We're going to get your memory back." He told me.

I smile a little and look back out the window. We pull up to a house with a bunch of people piling out of cars. I remember them from the hospital. There were three other girls coming out of the house. Me and Niall get out of the car and walk towards everyone. "Hey, Livvy." One of the girls said. "It's Rebecca Gormley. And this is Emma Johnson and Danielle Peazer." I look at the other two girls. They were all really pretty. We head inside, and everyone starts passing by me and walking into the living room.

I feel a hand being placed on my shoulders. I turn and see someone I remember from the hospital. I think it was Louis. "C'mon." He said to me. "We're going to the Canfield Fair today. We need to get ready." The two of us head upstairs and into a room. "We share the same room. Your stuff is in that suitcase over there." He says pointing to the suitcase by a dresser.

I walk over there and open it up. I pull out a miscellaneous gathering of clothes and walk out of the room so he can change. It took me a while for me to find the bathroom. I walk in and close the door behind me. I take off the clothes I came in and got in the shower. When I got out, I dried myself off and changed into the clothes I randomly grabbed; a red sleeveless peter pan collar top, short shorts with rips in them, and a pair of black converse. I put my wet brown curly hair up into a bun, and do my makeup. I just put on eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. I do a little bit of foundation and a bit of lipgloss. Hey, I'm going to a fair and I might as well look good.

I leave the bathroom and outside is Niall. How long has he been waiting there? He must really like my look because when I saw him, he looked like he was drooling down his chin.

"Wow." He said. "Liv, you look awesome."

I blush. "Thanks." I reply and leave him standing there. I run downstairs, which is where everyone else was waiting.

"Alright." Jake announces. "Who's ready to leave behind the painful morning we had and replace it with some memorable memories that we will make this afternoon and try to get Olivia's memory back at the Canfield Fair today!?"

We all cheer and desert the house. We pile into the van, Jake meneuvering the wheel, and pull out of the driveway.

"Hey, guys!" Emma says.

"What?" I ask.

"Today's Liam's birthday!"

"Wait, what's today's date?"

"August 29." Liam answers, "And she's right, it is my birthday. I'm 19 years old."

"Oh, well happy birthday, Liam." I tell him. A few seconds later, the whole van breaks out singing happy birthday. I join in because it's really funny. After we finished, we began to sing what came on the radio. We sang like we can't sing.

"Kids, allow me to drive without getting into an accident. We already had one here." Jake announces. We quiet down, and were silent the rest of the ride. We pulled into a very crowded parking space. Jake stopped the car. "Okay. So I don't want any phone calls from the police station, kids. Go out and have fun!"

Canfield Fair, hear we come.

*Author's note*
The next chapter is the thing that I was most excited about writing for this story! The Canfield Fair!

So here's a fun fact about the Canfield Fair: It's real, and has been going on for 166 years! And I've been going to it since I was 6 weeks old.

I go back to school tomorrow :'( But only 5 months and I will leave the underworld (that's what I call school).

So hope everyone had an awesome new years! 2013! Can't wait!

That's all.
