The Letter (A Louis Tomlinson Fanfic) *Finished*

Courtney Shirley was just a normal 25 year old until she married Louis Tomlinson. The marriage only lasted a couple months. That's when the fame started to seperate them. A few weeks after the divorce was finizled, Court found out she was pregnant with twins. Will Courtney ever tell Lou about his children?

8. The Chest

*The Next Day*

“So when do they go to preschool?” Louis asked in between his sips of Yorkshire tea. “Tomorrow,” I sighed. I couldn’t believe that my babies were growing up. It’s seems like just yesterday when I brought them home. “Do you mind if I come?” he asked shyly. “Of course not Lou!” I told him. “Well you never know CiCi.” There was an awkward silence after he said that. He was the only person who called me that.

“I’m gonna go get the kids up,” I whispered as I grabbed my crutches. “I got them. Sit back down,” Lou instructed as he gently pushing me back in my recliner. He shortly returned with Kennie in his arms and Logan following behind. “Hi guys,” I smiled to them. “Morning mommy!” Kennie smiled back me. She was more of a morning person than her brother. “Are you ready to start school tomorrow?” I asked them. “No,” Logan said sadly. “Why not shortie? You’re gonna make so many new friends,” I told my son. “But I like staying with you mommy,” he said with his big brown eyes shining with tears. He was always a mama’s boy and I liked it to be honest. “Well you’re going to make tons of new friends tomorrow,” Louis reassured his son. “How do you know daddy?” Ken asked. “It’s a Tomlinson thing sweetie.” I laughed as I got my phone out and tweeted “It’s a Tomlinson thing, you wouldn’t understand 3:}”

“Hey mommyyyy,” Kendall smiled. “What do you want this time?” “Can we go to the park?” “I guess so.” I got up and hobbled up the stairs. I changed into this and walked downstairs. Louis took the kids to change. While he did that, I went to the kitchen to grab some snacks. Kennie was the first to come down. Logan followed shortly after her. “Ready?” I asked my kids. “We have to wait for daddy!” Ken wined. I sighed as I hobbled up the stairs. Louis better be hurt or something because if not, he was going to be once I got up there.

While I was getting Logan changed, I heard Kendall going through a chest behind me. “Should you be going through that?” I asked with my back still turned to her. “No,” she said as she continued to go through it. I turned around after I helped him tie his shoes and saw Kendall holding a ring. Well, not just any ring. It was the ring I gave Court about a week after we got married. “Mommy said you gave it to her to show her how much you loved her,” she smiled as she handed me it. I just stared at it in awe. I couldn’t believe she kept it. “Under the lights tonight, you turned around and stole my heart” I smiled as I read the engraving on the inside of the ring. I walked over to the open chest that Ken got it and saw all of the things I got her. There was the little stuffed bear I got her when I went to visit Niall and she couldn’t come because her and my mom wanted to have a girls’ day together. There was the blanket she dragged along with us when we went skiing in France (which was an experience). I felt a tear slip down my face at the happy memories that came flooding back to me.

“Louis?” I heard Courtney say in a sweet voice. I quickly wiped away the tear before she came in. “You ok?” she asked as she poked her head in the door. “Yeah, just fine,” I faked smiled. “Well then let’s go nimrod,” she smiled. I got up from where I was sitting on the floor and walked over to the door. I stopped in front of Courtney once I got to her. “Want a piggy back ride?” I cheekily asked her. “Okay!” she laughed as she jumped on my back. “You better not drop me Tomlinson,” she said seriously but I knew she was joking. “No promises.” This reminded me of the good old days when I would give her piggy back rides when she got tired of walking in London.

“Can we go now?” Kennie asked when we can down the steps. “Of course sweetheart,” I smiled to my daughter. I got them buckled in their stroller (which I don’t think they need) while Court got her crutches. When she came back, I was starting to rethink walking to the park. “Why don’t we drive there,” I suggested. “Alright,” she sighed as she got the kids out of the stroller. We got in my car since hers was totaled. I could tell that today was going to be a fun day.

*Back at Louis’ Hotel Room*

When I walked in, Harry was making tea. “Hey,” I smiled. “Hey. What happened to your face?!” Harry asked. “Kendall wanted me to look pretty,” I smiled. “Oh, El called. She wants you to call her back.” Weird. Eleanor would always call my cell if it was important. Oh well. I grabbed my phone from out of my pocket and walked to my room to call her. “Hello?” she answered sleepily. “Hey babe! Is everything ok?” “I have to tell you something important.” I got nervous. “Is the baby ok?” I asked quickly. “That’s what I want to talk about. The baby……….isn’t yours.”
