60. Going Home

"BRIANA! JADE!" Perrie said, sprinting into the room, Jesy and Jade following and Patrick following with an outfit in hand. He threw it onto my bed and we looked at them in confusion, wondering what their erratic behavior was for, "Frankie got kicked out!"

"What?" I sputtered out, my eyes going wide and I felt my heart literally drop. Frankie couldn't have gotten kicked out.

"He was kicked off of the show. They found drugs in his room. There's a rule against it and they've kicked him off," Jesy explained quickly. My heart lurched and my brain's capacity to contain information failed as my vision got blurry. I got up from the seat, taking off.

Frankie couldn't leave. He was one of my closest friends. I loved him and couldn't imagine living here without him. The second I reached his door, I threw it open, my heart stopping as I saw it was completely empty. Panic filled me and I took off again down the hall, running down the stairs and throwing open the front door, seeing some of the others saying goodbye to Frankie. When the front door opened, they all turned and I watched as Frankie slowly turned around. I couldn't hear a thing but I saw his lips say my name and I took off, running to him. He moved away from Kitty and stepped forward, opening his arms. I jumped into his arms, throwing my arms around his neck, burying my face into the crook of his neck. He squeezed me to his body and I felt tears burning my eyes.

"You can't go," I whimpered into his shoulder.

"I have to. I'm so sorry, Bri. I’m so stupid. I'll miss you," He whispered. When I pulled back from our embrace, I saw guilt and regret in his eyes and also the despair and sadness. He pressed a kiss to my forehead and he rested his hand on my cheek, stroking it with his thumb.

"I'll miss you too," I choked out, a tear making its way down my cheek. Frankie was leaving. He was really leaving. He was leaving me for a stupid mistake but everyone makes mistakes, don't they? Just like Niall made a mistake by kissing Cher and I made a mistake by loving Niall. My heart panged with sadness and I was close to breaking down. Frankie had always been there. Through everything so far, he had been there. He was there to help me with Cher, when I met Katy, everything and he was officially leaving me.

"Don't cry, Bri. Please. Don't make this any harder than it already is," He pleaded. I blinked, trying to stop the burning tears and they slowed, but didn't stop, "You have everything, Briana. You're going to win this thing. I know it. And when you're all famous and touring all over the world, just don't forget about me.”

"I could never forget you," I murmured as our foreheads met.

"Frankie, time to go," A producer called. I sniffed, tears falling down again as Frankie parted from our embrace to nod to the man. He placed a kiss to my cheek.

"I'll miss you, munchkin," He told me.

"I'll miss you too," I whispered. He gave me one last squeeze before leaving me, heading to the car, waving to the others, squeezing some of their hands as he passed. He got into the car and a producer shut the door after him. Tears blurred my vision and I felt an arm wrap around me soothingly and turned to see Patrick. He pulled me closer to him, giving me a squeeze to reassure me that it would be okay. I sniffed, curling into his arm and resting my head against his chest. Someone grabbed my hand and I turned my head to see Jade. She squeezed my hand and I smiled weakly, trying to fight back the tears. Frankie rolled down the window to wave to us all and he sent me a reassuring smile, waving one last time before the car pulled away, making Frankie disappear from our view.
