This is a Stand Up

Briana Hill is a normal girl, except for the fact that she is neighbors with Liam Payne from a new boy band called One Direction. When Liam brings the band back to stay with him for a while, Briana ends up falling in love with one of the boys. This is the love story of the ordinary girl and th boy band star.

58. Getting Pretty

"So you approve?" I asked playfully.

"110%. You never cease to amaze me, Briana," She smiled and I returned it, shrugging nonchalantly. We turned down a hall and I spotted Misha and Janet sitting at a table. They smiled at us when we neared and I plopped in the seat beside Janet and she looked at me with amusement.

"Long rehearsal?" Janet inquired.

"Extremely. 3 hours of dancing," I replied.

"That's hell," Misha pitched in. I nodded in agreement.

"Well to treat my three girls, we're going out to dinner tonight. So you girls run back to the house, shower and change into something pretty and I'll be there at 6 to pick you up, ok?" Kelly informed and we all nodded in excitement before we split ways with Kelly, heading to the car that would take us back to the house.

"Hey Briana," Patrick greeted when we entered the house. He was just walking down the stairs. I smiled at him, waving, "It's been a while since we've talked."

"We spent all morning together, Patrick," I corrected with a giggle. We really had. We woke up at the same time and decided to help the cooks make breakfast which was quite the entertainment for them, I suppose because all Patrick and I did was mess around and then we sat next to each other during breakfast which was painful before we kept kicking each other and squeezing each other's knees and let me tell you from personal experience, Patrick could hit hard. And then even after breakfast, we fought over who would take a shower first before we went to separate bathrooms but then had to get ready in the same bathroom so Craig could shower and then Patrick had even picked out my outfit for the day.

"Yeah well I missed you while you were gone. How was rehearsal?" He inquired as I put my foot on the first step, hopping up onto it.

"Long but good. Kelly came in and she's taking Misha, Janet and I out to dinner. Want to do me a huge favor?" I asked innocently, batting my eyes at him and he smiled knowingly.

"Of course I'll pick out your outfit. Go jump in the shower! I'll go get Jade and she can do your hair and Leigh can do your makeup!" He chanted and I just laughed before going up to take a shower while Patrick gathered the said names. When I was done with my hot shower, I was immediately thrown into a chair by Patrick and he was matching colors to my skin tone before disappearing into my closet.

"Hey Bri," Leigh greeted as her and Jade walked in as well as Jesy and Perrie who flopped onto my bed.

"Hey!" Patrick's muffled voice came from the closet. They all looked at it in surprise and laughed. Leigh bounded over to my side, inspecting my face with a smile.

"You're going to be so easy to work with," She hummed before slamming her box of makeup and cosmetics onto my vanity, opening up the many compartments. My eyes widened, turning to the others in shock and they just laughed. Leigh immediately began to work, using so many different brushes on my face. At one point during her work, Jesy had taken the towel off of my head to dry my hair as Jade and Perrie were on Twitter, probably going through mine since I never signed off. I heard them giggling from time to time which worried me before Patrick called for their help, "You look beautiful, of course. When don't you?"

"Shut up, Leigh," I scolded, nudging her hip before looking in the mirror. I smiled at the result. Leigh had done well. Jesy had also completed drying my hair and had left to go with the others a while ago to find an outfit, "Thank you though."

"Leigh!" Patrick called.

"No problem, doll," She laughed and patted my cheek before walking off, "Hey Jade," I heard her say quickly as she rushed passed my first friend on the X Factor. I felt a little panicked that Jade and I were now alone. I felt terrible. For as close as we are, I neglected her and my trust for her because I trusted her with my life and I don't know why I couldn't just tell her everything. Our eyes met through the mirror and she walked over to me, running her fingers through my hair.

"I'm going to curl your hair," She said dully. It wasn't excited or angry. She just said it with no emotion. I bit my lip gently as she tied some of my hair up to get my hair underneath first.
