Make A Wish

Madeleine and Abby are best friends who have gone through the best and the worst together. Abby had already found the one, but Madeleine was still searching via blind dates. When Abby picks out ONE MORE date, she finally falls in love with Harry Styles. Through heartbreak, tears, and coming back stronger than ever, the girls realize love takes fighting, even when the boy of your dreams is already yours. On Madeleine's 18th birthday, she only has one wish- but is what she wants really what she needs?

2. Love At First Sight

I woke up in my bed, (no duh) ready to transfer myself to the kitchen, grab food and drink, then transfer to the couch, do nothing all day, fall asleep on the couch, wake up, and repeat. I plopped on the couch with a carton of orange juice, a bag of caramel cheerios, and the remote. Abby came out of her room, completely dressed to face the day in her normal ensemble; pre-ripped blue jeans, an Avril Lavigne tshirt, a red zip-up sweatshirt and laced up Chuck Taylors. Her hair was tied up into a pony. "Where are you going?" I asked. "I'm going to the movies with Niall. Wanna tag along?" she smiled. "Um, yeah, let me just join you and your boyfriend on a date looking like this," I gestured to my stained American Idiot T-Shirt and my red shorts (no exaggeration on the word SHORT) that said "Irresistible" on my butt. "As you wish. Still wallowing in self pity?" she said, all sass. "No. I'm over that. But, hey, I'm fine with staying here with my OJ and my pig slippers," I wiggled my feet, sending one of the pigs flying across the room. "Porky!" I said, sitting up strait. "I have to go," she said. "Hey, Harry's going to be there. I'll tell him you said hello, and talk you up a little," She winked impishly. I most definately did not want her talking me up. She may be talking, walking, and mocking dictionary of our apartment, but the last time she talked me up, she'd listed my achievements as pro sky diver, drummer for Adele, and world famous chef. I'm sure my eyes were bigger than a full moon. "Don't you dare. Let me take a five minute shower," I jumped off the couch and darted to the bathroom. I jumped right into the shower, letting out a small shriek. It was freezing! I washed as quickly as I could, and then threw myself into a cutesy floral dress and cowboy boots. I braided my hair and threw on some mascara, throwing my lipgloss into my purse. "There, ready. What movie is it anyways?" I said. "Axe Murders Four," she said with a giddy smile. "Ugh! You should've told me! I'm not going." "Sorry, you have to come. I already texted Niall and Harry and told them you were coming. Sorry," I knew that she wasn't, but it was hard to stay mad at your best friend. In the car, I applied my glitter-gloss and a sheer coat of blush. "Okay, now," she said, putting the car in park outside of the theater and turning to face me. "Harry is a little shy, so you have to be too. Don't think you'll have a problem," she added under her breath. I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. I saw Niall standing there with his hands in his pockets. His eyes lit up when he saw Abby. They hugged and walked into the theater and again I felt that deep, poisoning jealousy I hated so much. Harry was standing there awkwardly. I guess he didn't know whether to go in with them or wait for me. "Um, hi," I said. "Hello," he replied. "I'm Harry. You're Madeleine," I smiled. "Smart boy, eh?" I said. "So, do you wanna go in?" Harry was exactly what I was looking for in all those other dates but I just couldn't find. I wasn't sure what it was Harry had and the others didn't, but there was something. It was love at first site.
