Take Me Away

One her 18th birthday Arianna receive a letter in the mail. It is her parents' will entitling her to £10,000.00. This was her chance to leave her rotten parents (ones that adopted her) that abused her and mistreated her. Since she's always wanted to be a singer, Arianna applies to her dream school, (not real) Union Music Academy. It was fairly new, but popular. But when she goes, she doesn't expect to meet Zayn Malik from One Direction...and fall in love with him?

2. New School

ARIANNA'S POV:

I walk onto the school grounds just at the stroke of midnight. Thankfully the office was still open. I walk in showing the lady at the desk my acceptance letter. Thankfully, they have one room open and I am allowed to take it. She walks me to my room and stays to see if I was comfortable with the arrangements. It is three times the size of my old room, with a kitchen, a queen size bed with a flat screen tele on the wall in front of it, a sofa in front of the bed, a bathroom, a small walk in closet, and an actual study desk. "Classes start at 10 o'clock, and don't be late, teachers here aren't the nicest," the lady says. I look at her. Hazel colored hair with eyes to match, tall maybe 5'9", peachy skin with a few freckles here and there, and she looked to be at oldest 35. "I'm sorry," I say, "I'm not actually familiar with the campus..." She smacks her forehead with the palm of her hand. "Ah right, sorry, let me get you a map and your timetable," the lady says before leaving the room. I take the time to empty my suitcase (not my batman blanket, photos, and little stuffed sheep that was with my photos), then I shove the suitcase under the bed.

After hanging my clothes, the lady comes back. "Okay, so here is your timetable and a map of the school," she says. "If you need any help, come to the front desk in the office and ask for Lucy, that's me." I smile at her, "Thank you Lucy." With that she leaves me again. It's so quiet and peaceful...and clean. There is no pungent smell like there was in the flat I was living in just a few hours ago. This is paradise to me. I just hope that I can get along well with others in the school

I yawn, and know that I should get some sleep soon. I go over to my closet and grab my pajamas. I travel into my bathroom and let my jaw drop. The bathroom is amazing! It has a whirlpool bathtub, a separate shower, a normal toilet (porcelain), and a sink with a cabinet under neath and a mirror attached to it. I stare at myself in it. Pale, white skin, dark grey eyes with five light freckles under each, dark brown hair that pass my shoulders with strait bangs that hit my eyebrows, and my pink lips that I dislike. I'm 5'7" and weigh only 104lbs, and don't have much body shape.

I notice that there is also a mirror on the right side, next to the door, that opens up so you can store your things in it. Shoot, that reminds me, I must have forgotten my toothbrush and some toothpaste. "I'll have to ask Lucy for the nearest drugstore," I mutter to myself. Even though I've lived in London for 9 years, I don't know where anything is except my old school. Jake blocked me off from having contact with anyone and never let me go anywhere. It is a miracle I could find my school.

I finish up in the bathroom, my clothes now changed, and walk off to the office. Lucy was a bit surprised to see me. "Sorry, but I forgot to bring a toothbrush with me, can you tell me where the closest drugstore is?" I say. "When you walk off the school, cross the street, go right, then turn left and go straight until you see a Superdrug," Lucy says, smiling at me. I smile back and thank her.

My trip to the drugstore and back to my room was quite an adventure. I got a bit lost, had a stranger help me get there, and then help me get back to school. He was quite handsome, and I was surprised that he waited for me while I got what I needed. I wish I got his name, but I didn't and now I couldn't. I go into the bathroom to brush my teeth then head straight for bed.

At first I feel jittery and can't sleep. I'm too excited for tomorrow. Will I get lost again? Will my teachers like me? Will my classmates like me? Will I make any friends? I don't notice the drowsiness that comes over me as I am thinking, but soon I am fast asleep, only to be woken up by a knock at the door.
