Take Me Away

One her 18th birthday Arianna receive a letter in the mail. It is her parents' will entitling her to £10,000.00. This was her chance to leave her rotten parents (ones that adopted her) that abused her and mistreated her. Since she's always wanted to be a singer, Arianna applies to her dream school, (not real) Union Music Academy. It was fairly new, but popular. But when she goes, she doesn't expect to meet Zayn Malik from One Direction...and fall in love with him?

5. Can I have your number?

Neveah and Arianna were nice girls. Charming too. Especially Arianna. I don't know why, but she caught my eye. She was beautiful. Her grey eyes shone so bright against her pale skin, making her light tan freckles noticeable. She was a little bit shorter than me, but not by too much. Her hair was a dark brown with soft waves that passed her shoulders by a few inches. And her lips. They were a light pink, they looked so delicate. She looked like a little porcelain doll. One that had a melodic voice.

Neveah was also beautiful, but I didn't fancy her too much. She seemed like someone who could pair up with Harry. A good person for him to cuddle.

"So Zayn, where are the others?" Neveah asked me as she took a bite into her sandwich. "Well, they were going to come down, but then Niall wanted to see his family for a bit, Liam thought he'd go with him, just for a small vacation, and so I told Lou and Harry that I could do this," I said. I kind of wished I hadn't told them that. I didn't know how I would manage with so many people. Sure I wanted to be an English teacher if I weren't in the band, but this was not an English class.

"What's it like to be in a band?" Arianna said. I looked at her and couldn't stop staring into her eyes. I notice her blush and realized that I was staring. "Oh well... It's fun," I said, not really sure what to say. I was feeling a bit shy. She was really cute. Wait... What was I thinking? I had a girlfriend! I had Perrie!

"Oh, lunch break ends in a few minutes," Mr. Letterman said cleaning up his trash. I did the same, and so did the girls. I found it funny how Arianna clung to her guitar. "Arianna, that guitar isn't going to run away," Neveah said, reading my mind. "I know... But this is my first ever instrument that I actually get to keep," Arianna said happily. I had to turn away so no one could see my smile. Then I felt like kicking myself. I had a girlfriend!

The bell rang and soon people started filing into the seats in front of me. Arianna and Neveah sat back in their seats. Once everyone sat down, Mr. Letterman said, "Okay class, so I see you have all gotten your instruments?" The students eagerly held up their instruments to show him. "Good good," he said, then turned and looked at me. "So Zayn, do you want to show the class how to play an instrument?" I pressed my lips into a tight line and looked back at him. "I actually only know how to play the triangle," I said offering a smile. He let out a laugh and I heard a few girls squeal. "Not to worry, maybe you can give the class a few tips on how to sing. Like what to do, how to keep calm during a performance, those sorts of things." I saw an attractive blond stand up and scream, "Sing for us!" I stood there thinking for a second. I decided to sing 'Let Me Love You,' by Mario, like I did for my X Factor audition. A few girls screamed, some guys gave me a cheer, but I was looking at Arianna most of the time and didn't notice. She was smiling and clapping at me when I finished. I blushed and smiled at the, and looked down so no one could see. "Thanks," I said to them.

---end of class---

I was getting ready to leave when a few girls came up to me, a few asking for autographs. One girl, named Sydney, put her hand on my arm, looked me straight in the eye, smiled, and said, "You have an amazing voice." I smiled at her, "Thanks." I talked with the girls for a bit and then they had to leave. To my surprise, Neveah and Arianna had stayed behind. Neveah was talking to Mr. Letterman, but Arianna was standing by herself, watching me. When i looked at her she looked away. I smiled and walked over to her. "Hey," I said casually. She looked at me. "Hi," she said quietly. "You have a really good voice." I looked at her. She was avoiding eye contact and was blushing. I felt like kicking myself. "Thanks, you have an amazing voice too," I said. Then I got a crazy idea. "Hey, can I have your number?" She looked up at me a bit alarmed. "Oh, I just want to see if management would care to see you, since you're good." That was a total lie, I just wanted her number. But maybe I could tell management about her, she really did have a good voice. "Thanks, but I don't have a phone," she said giving me a saddened smile. "I was planning to get one soon, so maybe tomorrow I'll have one. I hope." I couldn't help but let out a little laugh, and she giggle

Then we split ways.
