7. The End and After

Back in Rimmington, Dmitri had finished reconstructing Melzar's Maze into a respectable home. Dmitri kept some of the artifacts of his old friend, including several books on the power of custard, and a shrine dedicated to cabbage stew. But most importantly, Dmitri kept the valuable teapot that had been hidden away in the basement, that a lesser demon had been guarding. With one hit from Dmitri's cane, the demon was gone forever, never to be spawned again.

Dmitri: Two lemons down, one to go. After years of work, finally fruition! I'm glad I had the foresight to send out a 450 or so adventurers to find Zegelheim. Surely. one of them will find him.

And of course, Dmitri was right. Eventine brought him the mirror of Zegelheim. With the three lemons in his possession, Dmitri was able to stop Marleigh from turning Rimmington into an island, and stop the marriage of Lyle and the mongoose princess, and finally recover his left sock that had been missing for decades. The new Melzar's Maze was turned into a great tourist place for Rimmington, finally bringing in money and attention from all over Runescape. It turned into an amazing dungeon for high-level adventurers and included a large ballroom in the basement for more classier players to learn the waltz, foxtrot, and tarantella. Unfortunately, the new building had attracted too much attention, and mysteriously burned down (with some adventurers still inside). Some say it was the Wise Old Man. Some say it was the Dragonkin. But we know who it really was...
