A Million Miles Away

"I'll be home before you know it, okay?" He said, lifting my chin up.
"Okay." I whispered. He pressed his lips to mine and wrapped me in a tight hug.
"I love you so much, Marissa."

2. Meeting

I slowly opened my eyes, waiting for the screaming of my alarm clock. No sound came. I sighed with relief. Thank gosh, it was the weekend. I stretched and got out of bed. I threw on some running shorts, an athletic shirt, and some athletic shoes. I put my hair up in a ponytail and headed out my front door. I jogged down the my neighborhood street and turned onto the beach. The sun felt great as I jogged down the boardwalk. Several lifeguards whistled and I rolled my eyes and continued to jog. I slowed down at Starbucks after my usual one hour jog and headed in.

"Hey Marissa!" Troy called out, smiling. He always works at Starbucks so I see him every morning.

"Hey." I smiled. I headed over to get in line. As I was headed over, I looked up and my eyes met the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen. His eyes were locked onto mine. He had brown, side swept hair with deep ocean blue eyes. He had perfectly white, straight teeth, and a very toned body. The feeling that passed between us as we looked at each other was indescribable. I eventually broke eye contact as I moved to get in line. A smile spread across my face as I stood there thinking about him. Did this mean something? I mean, I've never felt like this with anyone, not even Tyler. I looked up and caught him staring at me and he turned away quickly, but not before a smile parted over his perfect teeth.

She was perfect, amazingly beautiful. Her silky brown hair was pulled up in a ponytail with loose strands hanging around her face. Beautiful green eyes shone against her tan skin. Her perfect, full lips parted slightly as she smiled to herself. Her athletic clothes clung in all the right places, showing her perfect figure. That feeling when our eyes first met, something I can't even explain.
