Just My Luck

One mistake changed everything, but I guess that was just my luck. I was being my normal clumsy and forgetful self but I guess it was meant to be that way. What if, no I don't even want say what if I hadn't because then I would have never met my love, Harry. I was just an average student with luck, lots of it, when my life changed forever. It must have been fate that brought us together and I am forever grateful for my one little mistake. Even though I told myself I would never let myself fall in love again after what happened last time but I couldn't help myself, I hope it wasn't a mistake.

4. Chapter 4

The rest of the day was just like I expected, boring. Of course I was excited to be there and stuff but I was just no in the mood to learn, I wanted my phone back. My last class was dismissed and I was happy my first day was over. I didn't have any money because all of it was in my wristlet, so I had to walk home. My apartment was only about a twenty minute walk so it wasn't to bad.

  ...Twenty minutes later...

I was almost at my apartment, but it looked like someone was sitting on the front steps, but I couldn't make the person out from this far away. As I neared the person stood up and started walking toward me. Now I knew who the person was, it was Harry. He was wearing a grey beanie with a plain shirt, skinny jeans, converse, and sunglasses.

"Hey Nat, I have your phone," He explained as he neared.

"Thanks, I was looking all day for it. I was worried I wouldn't get it back," Now we were next to each other and he was walking next to me. He handed me my wristlet and I thanked him.  I was surprised we weren't being attacked by paparazzi or girls considering we were in the middle of the street with no security guards or anything.

"I tried to give it back to you at Starbucks but you must not of heard me," He spoke in his British accent. I thought British accents were so cute, but I guess everyone here thought my American accent was cute.

"Sorry about making you go through all this trouble," I apologized.

"Don't worry about it. Hey, uhm, I was wondering if you like wanted to hang out sometime or something."

"Yeah sure, that would be fun," I agreed, I tried to control myself and not go into complete fangirl mode.   "I guess I will talk to you later then," He added.

We said our goodbyes and we went our seperate ways. I went towards the front door and Harry walked towards a Range Rover parked on the side of the road. I waved goodbye as I went through the door and he waved back. I closed the door and started freaking out.

"Harry Styles wants to hang out with me, with me! Who would have ever thought of that," But then I remembered last time I had fallen in love, it was in high school and this was supposed to be a new start but how was I supposed to forget that. My first love had been a total jerk and I needed to move on and forget. These thoughts ran through my mind for about five minutes but then I realized I hadn't gotten his number and he didn't have mine. The whole thing might have been over before it even began. I unlocked my iPhone and clicked on the Contacts app. I scrolled all the way down to "H" and was relieved to see that the cheeky chap had put his number in my phone. I sighed in relief. I went to the kitchen to get a snack but remembered I still had no food, I decided I needed to go to the store to get some food so I grabbed my car keys and went to the car parked out front.
