Just My Luck

One mistake changed everything, but I guess that was just my luck. I was being my normal clumsy and forgetful self but I guess it was meant to be that way. What if, no I don't even want say what if I hadn't because then I would have never met my love, Harry. I was just an average student with luck, lots of it, when my life changed forever. It must have been fate that brought us together and I am forever grateful for my one little mistake. Even though I told myself I would never let myself fall in love again after what happened last time but I couldn't help myself, I hope it wasn't a mistake.

3. Chapter 3

I got to school with five minutes to spare. I handed the taxi driver a couple of pounds and grabbed my stuff and ran into the school. I didn't know anyone and was quite shy when first meeting new people. I opened the class room door and I was one of the last ones there. I sat in a desk in the back of the classroom next to a girl who looked some what familiar.

"Hey, I'm Ariana. I think we met at orientation."

"Uhm, yeah I think we did. I'm Natalie."

"Well, nice to meet you,"

"You too," I finished awkwardly.

The teacher walked in and introduced himself. But then he started right away, we had a essay due on Friday and a group play to write which was do next week. The rest of the class was boring and all I could think of was Harry. I had told myself I wouldn't fall in love again, not what after happened last time. Last time my boyfriend cheated on me with practically anything that moved. And I thought I loved him and that he loved me. After that I decided that I wouldn't let anyone do that to me ever again which meant no dating anyone.  The teacher said class was over and I stood up and began to leave but before I could Ariana asked if I wanted to do the group play with her.

"Sure, that's fine," I answered. She handed me her iPhone and asked me to put my number in. I typed my name and number into her contacts.

"One second, I will give you my phone to put your number in," I unzipped my bag and looked for my wristlet. I dug through all of my notebooks and looked behind my laptop, but the wristlet wasn't there.

"Uhm, never mind how about you just text me and I will add you."

"Sure, how about we start tonight, we can come to my flat," Ariana suggested.

"Yeah sure," I replied. Ariana took out a notebook and scribbled down an address and handed it to me.

"You can come over around 19:00," She said.

"Sure, see you then," I began to walk away when it hit me. I had left my phone at Starbucks, and that's why someone was calling my name as I left. My address was in on of my notes so I hoped someone would find it and return it.
