24. Management Schedules a Meeting

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Niall's POV
I have been so caught up in personal problems, what with Louis getting hurt, then Phoenix getting kidnapped, dying, being revived, and having a heart transplant, I completely forgot:
Management has scheduled a meeting for us.
I wonder what they will say about all of these relationships, or if they just want to talk to us about our next concert. We haven't had a concert in 2 weeks, and our fans must be disappointed. It was time for the meeting.
"Hi Paul.What are we here for?" Harry asked.
"Boys, we have a lot to discuss in this meeting, so all of the girls better come in here, because they are a part of this, too." Yeah, they were defiantly going to discuss relationships.
"Alright, now that everyone's here, we can start. First, what's this about a miracle, Phoenix?" Paul asked her.
"Well, I was hit in the chest with a baseball bat-"
"By who?"
"My ex. My heart failed, and I died. Then, I came back to life, and then I almost died again, and I had a heart transplant."
"And no one thought to tell us this? We have been worried!"
"We were all just so worried about her, so we forgot." Louis explained.
"Alright, now that that topic is out, next is relationships. Who all is dating in here?" We all raised our hands, except Suzy. "You all are lucky paparazzi hasn't found out about all of these. We are going to allow it, but no one better get caught. No dates, but group dates. No kissing, hugging, holding hands, or anything like that in public. Unless you don't mind if paparazzi is always chasing you guys down."
"We don't wanna keep our relationships secret, so we are wiling to take a risk." I said, and we all nodded.
"Alright, this is totally on you. Next topic: concerts. We've had to reschedule a lot of concerts, and we will be having our next one tomorrow. Only problem is: we don't have an opening act. This is where you girls come in. Can you all sing?"
"I guess we can." Grace answers for them, "We sung as a group at our school's talent show, and we won first place."
"Let's hear you!" Paul said.
"Yeah, I didn't know any of you could sing." Harry said
"What do you want us to sing?" Elle asked.
"Anything you would like."
They debate on a song, but I couldn't hear what they picked. Then, they started singing.
All 6: When he opens his arms and holds you close tonight,
Phoenix, Leslie, Grace: It just won't feel right,
All 6: Cause I can love you more that this.
Phoenix: Yeah
All 6: When he lays you down I might just die inside,
Suzy, Elle, Katlyn: It just won't feel right,
All 6: Cause I can love you more than this.
Katlyn: Can love you more than this.
"Wow, girls. That was really good. Boys, what do you think?" Paul asks.
"I loved it! sing something else!" Louis says.
"Sorry, Louis, we don't have time. We have too much to discuss. Next topic is about Phoenix. Did you give the hospital  permission to give your story to the public?"
"Yes, me and Louis agreed on it." She answered.
"Good. I didn't want to think that they just randomly gave it out without you knowing."
"No, sir, they asked, and I said it was okay."
"Okay. Last thing to discuss. Boys, after this tour, I'm leaving as your manager."
"What?" we all said in unison, like it was planned out.
"I don't get to see my family enough, and I miss them. I might return soon, but we'll have to see."
"No Paul! You can't leave!" I cried out.
"I'm sorry, boys. Look on the bright side: That's not for 5 more months, and I should return by your next tour."
We were all sad after that. At least it isn't at this moment. We have plenty of time.
