67. Lilly One on One Time

As soon as Louis had opened the door I bolted out of the room, wanting to get away from Harry and to kill a few people. I ran straight into the living room, searching wildly for Liam, Zoey, Niall, and Lilly. I would’ve exploded if I was in there any longer.  I knew they would try something like this but I wasn’t expecting it to be this soon.

“Mikayla! Where are you going in such a hurry?” Kylie asked me, grabbing my arm and pulling me back.

“I’m off to kill some people. I’m sorry but I don’t think you are going to have a few people you planned on having in your wedding in your wedding. Excuse me but I have to get going.” I informed her and she laughed and let go of my arm.

I took off again trying to find someone. I ran out of Louis’ flat and into Niall’s. No luck there. Same with Zayn’s and Liam’s. Finally I walked into mine and found all of them in here. They didn’t see me come in and I snuck up behind Liam. Then I jumped him. I was on his back and he jumped like ten feet in the air.

“Gotcha!” I yelled triumphantly.

Niall, Lilly, and Zoey were laughing their heads off and I turned my gaze to them.

“Just because I’m attacking Liam right now doesn’t mean you three get off easy. I know you had just as much to do with what you did to me as Liam did.” I threatened.

“Look! Get off of me and we will talk.” Liam said, holding his hands up in the air in mock surrender.

I hopped off of him and sat down on the couch.

“Tell me what happened!” Lilly exclaimed, sitting down next to me.

“Well first off, I wanted to kill a few people for locking me in a room with someone I had been trying so hard to avoid. Then I sat in silence glaring at him for the longest time. Fell asleep a few times, got woke up each time, and tried to escape the locked room to no avail.” I said, and cut my story short.

“Well if nothing happened then Louis wouldn’t have let you guys out!” Liam said, shaking his head.

“Fine something happened.” I said, giving nothing away.

“Oh My Gosh! Are you guys dating again? Is everything back to normal?” Lilly exclaimed.

I shook my head, a bit sadly.

“What? What do you mean?” Liam said, his tone confused.

“I mean we aren’t back together. We are just starting over. I guess you could call it friends.” I explained sadly.

“Was it his idea?” Niall asked, speaking up for the first time.

“No. It was mine.” I told him.

“Then why do you seem so sad about it?” Niall asked, confusion written all over his face.

“I don’t know. I don’t want to be friends but its better so no one gets hurt.” I explained.

“Oh well that sort of makes sense. Anyway, Kylie has scheduled something for us girls and Louis has his bachelor party tonight!” Lilly exclaimed.

“Really! That’s cool. When are we leaving or what are we doing?” I asked, grateful for the change of subject. I smiled gratefully at Lilly who winked at me when she saw.

“I have no idea. But we leave later tonight. Now we all are going to dinner before the guys go to their party and Kylie and us girls do whatever she has planned.” Lilly told me.

“How long did you guys lock me in there?” I exclaimed, noticing she said tonight and dinner.

“Well we put in there around 9:00 this morning and you just got out and it’s 5 so I guess almost 8 hours.” Liam said, doing to math.

“You guys are officially on my bad side.” I growled.

“hey it was for a good cause and something good came out of it didn’t it?” Liam defended himself.

“Shut up! Now everyone out of my flat please.” I announced and stood up.

Everyone filed out and Lilly stayed back.

“Lills, I want him back.” I said, and tears formed in my eyes.

Lilly came over to where I was standing and wrapped her arms around me.

“I know. I know. But it’s better to start over. You don’t want to get hurt again right?” Lilly said, softly, rubbing my back.

“No. But I miss him. He told me he didn’t mean anything he said. And he wanted me back. He said he was nothing without me. He used the Oreo cookie without milk analogy! Lills, I don’t know what to do with this boy. He is everything to me but he makes me so mad sometimes.” I sobbed, just pouring my heart out to my red haired friend.

“Mik, he loves you. He really does. When you left for the month he was heartbroken. No one saw him at all. He hardly ever came out of his room, only to get food and water. That’s the only time we ever saw him. None of us could convince him to leave the flat. He just stayed in his room doing god knows what. Would someone who didn’t love you do that?” Lilly exclaimed.

“I love him too, Lilly. I really do. But I don’t know where our relationship stands. I know where I want it to stand but I don’t think that’s going to happen.” I said, pulling away from her.

I ran the back of my hand across my face, wiping my eyes. My hands turned black with the eyeliner and mascara running.

“God, Mik you look terrible.” Lilly teased me.

“I know. So what does Kyles have planned for us?” I asked Lilly, smiling through the tears.

“Well she mentioned going out to get makeovers, and massages. Plus the final dress fittings. Don’t worry we got your measurements and all so we had a dress made for you. Tonight’s the final one. So it will be a girl’s night out. The boys on the other hand are going somewhere. Not a strip club or anything. We’ve had some bad experiences there. I think they are just going out to dinner and having a good time. I know Kylie made Louis promise not to go to a strip club or have girls or anything over, considering all of them have girlfriends. Plus they all are best friends so they have fun without having someone there to entertain them.” Lilly started rambling on about how they are trustworthy and all.

“Lills!” I laughed, cutting her off.

“What?” she stopped, looking at me.

“You’re rambling. I don’t care where they go. I mean I’m not dating any of them am I? But, I know Kylie doesn’t want her fiancé getting drunk and snogging a random chick who has a tendency to strip.” I stated, still laughing at Lilly’s rambling.

“I guess you’re right. Anyway you are going to love your dress. It is so gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what they’ve done to mine. I mean they are the best according to Kylie. I don’t know how she would know these things but I have to believe her. I mean Kylie is Kylie! You know what I mean right? Oh and Kylie’s dress is gorgeous. Like hands down gorgeous. She is going to kill the boys out there. I don’t know how Louis is going to keep his hands off of her on a few days.  Oh and for their honeymoon, we are sending them to the Caribbean. I don’t know why but I guess they liked it there.” Lilly rambled off again and I sat back listening to her talk. She calmed me down a lot. Just by listening to her, makes me relax and enjoy life at the moment.

“Hey Lil?” I said, stopping her talk for a minute.

“Yeah?” she replied, smiling at me.

“Do me a favor and keep talking. I’m going to go fix my horror movie face.” I said, and Lilly nodded and went right back to talking. I walked into the bathroom and took a look at my face. I’ve got to stop wearing make-up when I’m around these people. It always seems to get ruined. I washed off my make-up and cleaned my face up. I didn’t apply any more makeup considering we were going to get makeovers and all. The make-up would just get removed anyway. I walked back out and Lilly was still talking. Does this girl ever stop?

“Lilly, I’m going to have to ask you to stop now. How about you show me a picture of my dress if you have one?” I asked, stopping the red head from talking.

“Oh of course I do. I meant to send it to you but I forgot.” She said, and pulled out her IPhone. I waited as she scrolled through her gallery and finally clicked on one.

“Here it is!” Lilly said proudly.

It was beautiful. It was a lavender dress with a V-neck line. It had no back and had white rhinestones in strips. It was pretty.

“Aww Lilly! It’s gorgeous!” I said, grinning.

“I knew you would like it.” Lilly smiled, triumphantly.

“Girls! Are you ready to leave to eat dinner?” Niall yelled outside the door.

“Why don’t you announce that to the whole building!” I yelled back.

“Well are you?” Niall yelled, slightly quieter.

“Yes. Hold on!” I called and got my phone and purse.

Lilly and I linked arms and walked out the flat. I locked it behind me and Lilly was handed off to Niall. We met up with the rest of the group and went down to a local Italian restaurant near the building. We ate, talked, laughed like nothing happened. Life was like it was before all the drama. After dinner we all parted ways and went to our own little parties. We went first to the dress fittings and I loved all of the dresses there. They finished my dress and I loved it. We were to pick them up the next day. Then Kylie all took us to the spa where we had our massages and just a night of relaxation. It was needed to with the recent events. No one mentioned the guys and what went on in the locked room. I was grateful for that. I wanted this day to be all about Kylie. I didn’t want it to turn Kylie’s big event into a gab fest about me. We returned to the flat building around midnight and went our separate ways to our own flats. It was good to be back.
