2. Why hello there...

Robyn always thought she was some kind of bad luck charm.

Heck, even the day she was born was on Friday 13th. Friday 13th July to be exact.

She was supposed to be due at the end of September, making her 27 weeks when she was born. She had to stay in the hospital for another 3 months, ironically being released on the day she was supposed to be born.

Unfortunately, her Mom had post-natal stress disorder and walked out on Robyn and her Dad when she was only 7 weeks old, not returning to them both till Robyn was 9, meaning she had to get accustomed to Robyn and Robyn to her.

Making her way out of the library, she accidentally banged into someone, spilling hot coffee not only on herself, but the stranger as well.

Hissing in pain as the coffee blistered her skin, she looked up at the stranger who was panicking as well
"Oh my God, are you alright?" he asked, sounding slightly worried "Is your hand alright?"

"Mhhm" she found herself saying, tears pouring down her cheeks. Her hand REALLY hurt. She found herself shaking with both hurt and embarrassment. As she was getting up, she leaned over to the side and onto the mystery stranger.

"Woah!" he laughed, putting his hand around her waist  "I'll take you to reception. So I'll be late for Chemistry, no biggie. I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Mitchell but Mitch is fine"

"Robyn" she mumbled, looking up at "Mitch" properly for the first time. He was fairly tall with dark green eyes and shaggy brown hair with some blonde highlights which strangely suited him fairly well. Dressed in a Legend of Zelda hoodie, he also wore a pair of stylish jeans complemented with dark blue converse.

As he took her to reception he introduced himself more properly. He was originally from New- Zealand but moved to Canada where he was 5. After living in Toronto for 9 years, he moved to Oregon where he was home-schooled before he finally convinced his Mom to go to normal school. He started last week and although he had made a few friends, he still felt a bit lonely.

"Well, I gotta go, Chemistry" he said, giving her a smile "See ya Robyn!"

As he walked away, Robyn couldn't help but feel herself blush. She had a feeling she was going to like this year.
