39. Some Things Should Be Left Unsaid (pt 2)

I never had a chance to respond, before his lips were locked on mine. Christian’s arm twisted around my hip until he was laid out on top of me, his mouth opening mine. His kisses caught me off guard for a second before my body naturally responded to his. A fire arose from deep within my body, as anticipation tingled through my limbs. Christian’s hand tangled in my hair, while his other hand rubbed up and down my body. I gasped for air as he broke the kiss, turning his lips to my throat in a trail of kisses.

I moaned softly, my own hands twisting into his untidy black hair. Christian’s lips returned back to mine, and I gasped once more as his hand rubbed my stomach beneath my shirt. My racing heart pounded against my chest, and I moved my hands under Christian's shirt lifting it up. I expected him to bat my hand away but he didn’t instead he paused slightly and pulled his shirt over his head. My eyes popped out my head, as I took in the contours of his chest and stomach. His skin was pale white, but he had muscles that showed how much he was active in his human years.

Christian’s brown eyes danced excitedly but I knew he was in control, he breathed in slowly. His body was spectacular, and kept me hypnotized. I sat up and pulled him for another round of passionate kissing, he laid on top of me once more until he realized I was trying to change positions. Finally on top of him, I pulled my own shirt over my head, knowing that today would be the day. My pink bra remained intact as I placed kisses over Christian’s chest, and moved down to his stomach. I sat up, and braced myself as I reached behind my back and unhooked my bra. Before I could take it off completely, Christian reached gently up to place my hands into his. I bit my lip, in fear that I’d ruined the moment once again.

“Wait, are you sure about this?” Christian asked, his voice was raspy.

“I want you.” I muttered.

“You have me and always will but it doesn’t have to be today. I want you too, I am cursing myself for stopping you right now. But I have to make sure this is what you want here and now. We can wait, I don’t want you to feel pressured or let your fear of losing me, make you make a big decision right now. We have time for it to be the perfect moment.”

Christian’s words broke the hormonal spell I’d been under because with that sentence he’d uncovered the truth. The one reason why I’d wanted to rush to the next level of our relationship, I was afraid he’d leave me. I was afraid he'd get tired of being with a stupid human girl. Though we're reassured each other it was going to be always and forever, deep down I feared one day I'd awake and he would be gone. Being insecure wasn't a feeling I was used too but with Christian I couldn't help but feel that way. My fear of losing Christian propelled me to accelerate our relationship, and though I knew I loved him, I always wanted my first sexual experience to be romantic. Having sex on his bed in the daytime in his parent’s house, after learning more than one of his family members had wanted me dead, wasn’t my classification of romance.

I flushed with embarrassment, “You’re right. This isn’t the right moment for us to move to the next level.”

He smiled gently, “I’m glad we talked about this before we went any further. I almost lost control there for a moment.”

“You looked in control to me, your eyes stayed brown the whole time.” I told him a bit confused.

I hooked back on my bra, and moved off of Christian, who busied himself by putting on his own shirt. He turned his back towards me as I reached for my own shirt to put on.

“I didn’t mean lose control as in give in to my beast, I meant lose control as in a human man way.” He told me, his voice rough. I smiled contently, proud of having some sort of affect on him.

“Is that why you are refusing to looking at me as I put on this shirt?” I asked him coyly.

He chuckled lightly, “If I see you putting it back on, I might work very hard on changing your mind about waiting.”
I laughed softly, the minute I’d finished putting my clothes on he stood behind me.

“Do you want to get out of here?”

“Where do you want to go?” I asked him, turning to face him. His brown eyes were calm, and warm.

“Somewhere only we know.” He replied. I wanted to ask where exactly that was but he’d already taken my silence as a yes and was pulling me out the bedroom door. I giggled excitedly as he led me down the stairs, where there stood Lucas waiting for us at the bottom.

“Madison,-” Lucas began.

“Not now Lucas, it’s fine we’re going to be leaving for a while. Be back in a few see you later.” Christian interrupted.

I smiled reassuring at Lucas hoping he’d realize that I wanted to put it all in the past. Christian pulled me out he door before he suddenly stopped, I nearly bumped into him.

“What’s wrong?” I asked confused.

Christian didn’t respond instead he sniffed the air, his body tensed for a moment before he relaxed, “Nothing. Come on.”

Christian turned to me and hoisted me into his arms. I let out a yelp in surprise, he looked down, “Sorry, but you’re going too slow for me.”

“Well geez. I am only human.” I muttered, closing my eyes as he ran with me in his arms.
