my little book of freedom

This is a collection of poetry that I will be working on; I hope you enjoy :)

1. A box

 A box? A box.

A simple box.

No coloured lines or jagged sides;

No stickers nor any furs or hides.

However looks, they can deceive;

When opened up, I smiled to see,

A little book, fit tight inside,

A note on top, no place to hide.

The note it read, quite carefully:

‘Do your worst and make me free.’

In this book I drew and scribed,

Most everything that I could find.

The book, it came to me one day,

Was life’s little way to say;

Do your worst, for now you’re free,

It’s written in your poetry.
