5. Chapter 5

I don't want to write for no one to be reading, so tell me if it absolutely sucks! I can take the criticism! Please just bare with me. Yeah, yeah.

*Violet's POV*

Tonight was the night of the concert.

Everything was in order and the crowd was being ushered into the old abandon warehouse where it would take place. The boys were in their signature outfits and practicing amongst themselves. I stood backstage, nervously biting my nails and peering past the thin curtain that separated the crowd from backstage, observing the audience. No one to official stood with the rest. So far, so good.

I was pulled out of my slight relief by the cries of my best friend. She was pacing after her boyfriend, who was rushing around, making sure everything was set for the first show against the government.

Tessa grabbed the back of Niall's shirt and whipped him around to face her, "Please, Niall! You can't go through with this! This concert has the word 'dangerous' written all over it!" She pleaded with him, but to no avail, he refused to give into her words.

I watched closely as she grabbed his hand and tried to convince him further into the process for keeping him from his fans. Her voice became more panicky and she started to hop on her toes a couple times in nervous habit. I felt bad for my best friend. None of us girls wanted the boys to do this, but being supportive, we all managed to plaster a fake smile on our face. But Tessa. Oh Tessa. She isn't one that's scared to speak her mind, that's for sure. I was cut off with my thoughts as Niall practically yelled in Tessa's face.

"No, Tessa! I said no! We're doing this concert wether you like it or not!" immediately after the words came out of his mouth, guilt washed over his face. The fear of getting caught was obviously getting to him as well. He wrapped Tessa up in his arms and tried to use soothing words to calm her emotions. "Princess, I'm sorry. You know I didn't mean it like that. Look, the pre-concert jitters are getting to all of us. I didn't mean to yell at you. But trust me, I don't think anythings gonna happen tonight. I can't back down now, we've come this far already. Please try to be supportive of me and my band. I can't go and make what I love out there on stage without knowing that your next to me 100% of the way. Please, Princess?" with that Tessa hungrily smashed her lips onto Niall's and wrapped her arms around his neck, him snaking his own arms around her waist. Both their lips moved in perfect synchronization before I realized I was being a bit nosy and turned around again, peering at the audience through the curtain to see it had only gotten three times bigger compared to my last check.

All of a sudden someones arm yanked me back from the curtain and further backstage. We stopped somewhere in a shadowed place, away from the constant commotion.

"Be honest. Do you think this is a good idea?" Harry looked down at me with his big green eyes.

"Honestly, if you want to get caught, by all means, continue with what your doing. It's a great idea." I answered sarcastically. I was a bit short tempered with Harry at the moment. It was his idea to do this, and its going to be all blamed on him when..or if they get caught in doing so.

A scowl appeared on Harry's face as he continued to look down into my eyes. "Violet, seriously. I'm nervous. This may not go as planned."

"Just figuring that out?" I again enlightened Harry with my sarcasm.

"Violet! I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking! I was to caught up in the moment to think any further. I never thought we would actually go far enough to organize the concert.. I never thought about what could happen.." his voice trailed off as his eyes tore from my own and found their way to his feet. "I'm sorry." he whispered, losing his confidence.

I was so angry at him at the time that I just crossed my arms across my chest and sighed as if telling him I give up.I was just about feeling sorry for him until he looked up at me again, finally and smiled slightly. "Everything's going to work out fine, babe. Don't you worry."

Oh, well would you look at that. Harry found his confidence. Whoopdeedo.

I was just about to say something when we both heard Liam calling forth the band to prepare themselves before they went on in ten minutes.

Harry grabbed my hand in his own as we headed back towards the group. Eleanor and Louis looked like the perfect couple, sharing jokes and laughing together. Perrie and Zayn were both having a serious conversation, hearing each other out without any arguments whatsoever. Then the responsible mommy and daddy of the group were off together checking if everything was in order and occasionally giving each other a quick hug or peck on the cheek. As for Niall and Tessa, well, Niall had Tessa pinned against a wall as they hungrily made out with each other. By the looks of it, they hadn't come up for air since I left them. Sometimes I wished my relationship was as perfect as the others. Yeah, Harry and I loved each other and I was almost more than positive he was the one, but we were far from perfect. We always fought with one another and always got on the others nerves. We were always breaking up and making up. We both just needed time to breath. Not like taking a break from each other, but non stressful time together. And that's what I intended on doing with Harry when his concert needs were fulfilled. Just taking a full breather by spending actual quality down time together.

"Five minutes!" Liam's voice rang through the back of the warehouse informing us how much time was left.

Harry squeezed my hand and let go of it, letting it drop to my side. He tried to get me to look at him, but I kept my gaze from meeting his.

"Look at me," he placed his hand under my chin and tilted my head up so I was gazing up at him, "Nothing's going to happen, okay? I'm going to go onto that stage and preform a few songs to an audience that adores me and then I'm going to come right back stage, perfectly fine. And promise me you're going to be right here when I get off that stage saying 'you told me so', okay love?" He smiled down at me, only making my own lips twitch up into a smirk.

"I hope you're right," I whispered, more to myself. "I promise," I added, "I promise that I'll be right here to say 'you told me so' when to you walk off that stage."

"Good." he whispered against my lips before crashing them together. They moved together perfectly. It wasn't the best kiss we've shared but made due to the time limit we had. It all ended to quickly by Daddy Direction himself yanking Harry from behind and ordering him to get in position for the concert to start. I kept my eye on Liam as he had to pry Niall off of Tessa and lead him over to his space onstage. God, do those two ever stop suck each others face?

My eyes met Harry's on stage one last time before they went onstage. He mouthed a quick 'I love you' to me just as the curtain rises, revealing the band to the crowd.

I heard Liam's voice echo through the whole old warehouse as the concert began.

I whispered an "I love you too" under my breath before the sound was cut from the boys microphones and everything went black.

Oh my goodness, what's happened now?! O.o Well to find out please comment, like and favourite. I'd like to know someone's here with me. Thanks billions!
