HARRY'S P.O.V

Later that night, around 3 a.m., I was awoken by Hayden screaming bloody murder. I immediately got up and ran to her room, running into tables and walls in my hurry. "HAYDEN?" I screamed as I opened the door. I gasped when I saw her, a puddle of salty water surrounding her. Her hair was thrown on top of her head but pieces of it were chopped off. "Oh my- Hayden, shhh, it's okay. I'm here now, it's okay." I tried to calm her realizing she had another nightmare. About Jake. "Shhh, shhh, babe, it's okay." I cooed as I rubbed her back holding her close against my body. "Harr-harry he-he t-tried t-to.." she couldn't pronounce her words as the tears flowed from her eyes like waterfalls. "No, it's okay. Nothings happening, love. It was just a dream, shhh..." She started to control her tears while she sniffed. "Come on, let's get you out of her, yeah?" I picked her up and carried her to my room, her face buried in my bare chest. I set her down gently on the bed and got in next to her. Like a magnet, she immediately buried herself in my arms. I held her close while I played with her hair. "Shhh, you're okay now. You're safe with me." she sighed, "Harry?" "Yes, love?" "Stay with me. Don't leave, I can't let you." I closed my eyes and sighed, "Hayden, I can't. I have to go..It's not my choice. But if it was I would be here with you." She sighed again, more frustrated. "Harry..for some reason, this feels right." No, no. Hayden this is not right! We're best friends! But I kind of feel the same way.. "What does?" But she didn't answer, signaling she had fallen asleep. I pulled her as close as possible and cherished the moment that couldn't and wouldn't last.
