5. Forever

That night, Harry stayed over. I told him I was fine but he insisted. We spent the night lying on the floor, watching movies and talking. We were in the middle of 'The Notebook,' which I've seen so many times because it's his favorite. "Har-" "SHHHH, THIS IS THE BEST PART!"he squeals as he sits up. "You're a girl, Curly." I giggled. He ignored me so I got up to get some water. I set my glass down on the counter just as I received a text from Jake. 'Hayden, please let me come over.' I rolled my eyes and set my phone down just when I almost peed my pants. Harry's loud voice boomed from the living room and I jumped, luckily not holding the glass of water. "HAYYDEN, WHERE'D YOU GO?" I smiled to myself, "YOU ALMOST SCARED THE PEE OUTTA ME!" I hit his shoulder playfully and he pouted. "Sorry babe, but a man's gotta scream when a man's gotta scream." he teased. "Man? More like school girl squealing.." I shot back. He laughed his melodic laugh and I smiled. The movie ended, and Harry turned to me. Those green orbs glowing in the faint light, they made me a little uneasy. I liked that feeling though. I gave him the infamous 'what now' look and he sang, "HEART TO HEART!" "Ugh, Haz.. I'm really starting to think you are a girl." "Oh my god, girl I love that shirrrrt!!" he mimicked my voice to his best ability. I laughed but got serious again once I collected myself. "So, what did you want to say?" I asked as he played with the strings on his sweats. "Do you remember when your parents divorced?" "Yeah, of course I do.." I looked down at my Superman slippers remembering the terrible day I was forced to give my happiness away. "Remember what our promise was when your Mum said you were moving to your Dad's flat? "Harry-" "Do you?" I sighed, "Yes, I got your back and you got mine. Through thick in thin. Yeah, okay, so?" "Hayden, I still haven't broken that promise and I don't plan to. Remember when your Dad started hurting you and I drove all the way to London to get you?" I smiled at the memory. "Yeah, I do." "I will never let anything happen to you. No matter the situation. You're my best friend, it's my job." He smiled and winked. "I love you, Curly." I hugged him tightly, and he hugged me back. "I love you too. Oh by the way, Hayden.." "What Haz?" "I see you have an empty room here...tomorrow I'll leave to get the remainder of my stuff." "Why?" "Cause' I'm moving in." I laughed. "Whatever, Harry." "YAAAAYYYY. BEST FRIENDS FOREVAAA GIRL!!" He chant squealed in his girl voice. I giggled and fell asleep next to him on the blanket.
