Meet Lily Arnold your average teenage girl, facing the ups and downs of a teenage life? But you can't be stuck average for ever, Lily believes, something has to change, her time is about to come, will it be for the best?

4. The new you

Katie stood at the gates her scooter resting against the large unwelcoming metal poles that scared off the Bracken boys.

"I missed you, Lily!" She said and hugged me, nearly suffocating me, great! Rebecca met Alicia, they laughed and showed each other something on their phones. We rolled our eyes and looped arms

"Have you seen Hannah?" I ask, Katie shakes her head. We then pause, around the corner on a pink scooter an extremely pretty blonde girl comes round. Her handbag on the handle bars of the scooter, she raises one foot as she spots us and grins. "I have just spotted her." Katie says and grins at me. Hannah, the extremely pretty blonde, stops and smiles at us,

"Hey guys!" Hannah says. This isn't right, Hannah was the dorkiest, uncool-est of our 'friendship circle' and now she had boys drooling after her. Her normally dish-washer flaxen colored hair was now a glossy blonde, her skin was neatly applied with make-up and she has matured, alot. I guess people do change, unfouratnely, I never will.

"You look-great." Katie said grinning admiring the new Hannah. I just huff

"I liked your glasses better." I said, it didn't make much sense and Hannah paused.

"Don't you like?" What was that? It didn't make much sense 'don't you like?' whats that even supposed to mean?

"Not really." I say. Katie nudges me and grins once more at Hannah for good measure

"I think its beautiful." Hannah had already forgotten my comment and I was glad to. I am not a mean person, she looped her arm through mine. "Guess who Laurence hooked up with over summer?" Katie whispered.
