I Have What It Takes

My name is Dani. I'm 13 years old. The crowd roars with aplause as I step on to the stage. I'm only 13. It seems like I have come so far. What if it all ends in dissapointment. After all I am not suppost to be here. My fiingers instinctivly wrap around the microphone. I take a deep breath. This is the X-factor finals.
(This is for the M-Factor competition)

3. Boot Camp

Too many people. It's the auditions all over again. But this time, I know that everyone her can sing. At least enough to get here. How many people are here? How can I tell? Numbers wont work. I need to hear them. I WANT to hear them.
"Group 1 on stage please!" Shouts a woman. I take the time to observe her. Tall. She has black hair tied back into a pony tail. Her X factor polo was on and she had regular blue jeans. She seems serious, but kind.
"Group 1!" She repeats. I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I turn around. It's a boy. Dirty blonde hair. About my height. He looks about a year older than me.

"Excuse me, but arn't you group 1?" He asks.
"Oh yea. Sorry, I'm just a bit nervous." I say.
"Yea, me too." He confesses.
"Ok well, let's go on together." He smiled at me. I must confess, I was a little less nervous with his smile.
"Yea ok." I smile back. I'm sure my smile isn't neerly as nice as his, but I just wanted to show him that i was thankful.
"Whenever you feel nervous, just look at me. I'll be there." He said.
"Group 1 final call!" The lady shouts.
"Come on." says the boy.
"What's your name again?" I asked a little embarassed that I hadn't asked before.
"Ethan." He said than smiled again.
"You're Dani right? I saw your audition. You were great. Don't worry, you'll do fine."
We walked on to the stage together.
As the bright light shown in my eyes, I heard a voice. Simon's voice.
"Welcome to Boot Camp!" It said.
