2. I can't fly

Taylor was confused. Where was he supposed to go? Did he go the wrong way? No he couldn’t of have.

“Are you okay? My name is Anthony the Ant. What is a baby Toucan like you doing down here?” asked the ant.

“I fell from my nest but I need help to get up this tree,” said Taylor looking up at the tree behind him.

“Can’t you just fly back up there?” asked Anthony.

Taylor shook his head, “No I can’t fly yet,” replied Taylor.

“Oh!” said Anthony; his heart sank for the baby bird. “Can I help?” asked Anthony before Taylor could say anymore.

“I don’t know!” cried Taylor and once again started crying. There was complete silence. Well, not litery there were howls, squeaking, rain falling, wind and other things going through the trees and bushes of the rainforest. But as Taylor cried Anthony of someone who could help but it will be a really BIG risk. More of a risk than anything they’ve ever done before. The person they were going to go to was Jenny the Jaguar. It was a risk because Jenny the Jaguar is the meanest, bully of the rainforest but she was the only one who could help.

As Anthony and Taylor stumbled through the rainforest, they saw a poor butterfly who was struggling to fly.

“Are you okay?” asked Taylor in alarm.

“I can’t get up to this flower,” puffed the butterfly. The struggling butterfly fell backwards towards the floor. Then Taylor ran to stop her from falling on the forest floor.

“Thank you,” said the butterfly out of breath.

“Here,” replied Taylor, as he lifted the little butterfly to the flower she was trying to get to.  “I must say, you are a very beautiful butterfly.”

“Thanks,” replied the butterfly, blushing.  “By the way my name is Bethany.  “What is your name?” asked Bethany.

“My name is Taylor, Taylor the Toucan.  I’m going to Jenny the Jaguar,” said Taylor in delight.

“No, oh no Taylor,” replied Bethany in alarm.

“Why? What’s wrong?” asked Taylor, concerned.

“Jenny the Jaguar is the most dangerous creature in the whole rainforest only 10% of the rainforest’s animals that visit her come out again alive and the rest, oh no, no, no, no.  Taylor you have to have the best reason she has heard to come out again,” explained Bethany.

“But I need to get up the tree to get back home and you need to fly as well to be able to get nectar for food.  It’s a risk I’m going to take,” announced Taylor.

“ok and who is your ant friend?” asked Bethany.

“I’m Anthony the Ant, now everyone lets go!” cried Anthony.
