The Day that Changed my Life

Kade, an indonesian girl, suffers from the loss of her parents. She is shipped off to be adopted, but where will she go, who will she meet and how will she survive?

3. "Everything is fine, don't worry"

Katiya was sitting next to me, talking about the foster parents.  A notice board was mounted on the wall in front of us and a blackboard next to it, on the notice board were 4 pictures. There were only 2 families and there were 3 of us... We didn't know who would get fostered and who wouldn't.

"Are they here to make us look adorable" questioned, we were trying to talk in English, "i really don't know, probably". Both me and Katiya were almost fluent now. "I guess, well it might help us get fostered easier?"  "yeah, i suppose so.."

Though we didn't want to live in an orphanage, none of us were too keen about getting fostered. I turned my head toward the blackboard, Miss Mulkerns was speaking "Now there is something nice about these 4 foster parents" she declared "They live on the same street in the capitol London, whoever's is fostered bu these people will be able to be friends and stay in touch..." She let that sink in to us...

Me and Katiya; we could still be friends; nothing was going to separate us; we had to be fostered by these parents. The same thing had occurred to  Katiya and she murdered "the ladies, they can make us look adorably cute" that was the best idea i had heard all day.....

"Everything is fine, don't to worry" I said to her...

"You know that Maya is going to want these foster parents as well..." she said.

Maya AKA long dark haired beauty, everything was not fine.
