52. The Big Party

By this time, it's about 2:00 and the party starts in an hour. While I was getting ready, my family was setting up everything. My dad, Mr. Salerno, Mike, Greg, Liam, Harry, Zayn, and Niall were working on the tent while Jay, my mom, Kylee, Danni, Julia, and Mrs. Salerno were in the kitchen cooking.

I couldn't find any of Lou's sisters so I walked downstairs and asked if they saw them.

"I think they might be in the barn with Lou. He wanted to show them the rest of the horses," my mom replied.

"Thanks," I smiled.

"Wait! Are you done getting ready?" She asked.

"No," I dragged out the 'o' as I slowed backed up the stairs. I walked back into my room and to my closet. I saw my cream dress that I wore to a photo shoot with me and Tundra. I grabbed the dress, laid it on my bed, grabbed my dark cowboy boots, placed them by bed, and walked into my bathroom to curl my long, dark brown hair. When I was done straightening my hair, it was 2:30 so I quickly did my make-up. I put foundation, bronzer, blush, primer, concealer, neutral eye shadow, eye liner, and mascara on. (outfit:

I walked out of my room to put the dress on but I looked at my dresser and saw something.

A dozen roses in a crystal vase. It had a note in it.

'Carrot Princess,

I just wanted to say I love you and that I can't wait to live the rest of my life with you.

-Carrot Prince xoxo'

I smiled at the note and started putting my dress on. When everything was on, I looked in the mirror and saw my reflection. I looked at myself and noticed how beautiful I looked. Everything looked perfect to I walked out of my room, down the stairs, and into the kitchen where my family was.

My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, and Louis' family was there. My Uncle Jay did come along with Aunt Terri, Isabella, Alexandra, and Joseph. You could obviously tell that she was so happy that she was here and I knew that Uncle Jay was here only to get his approval. He walked over to me and gave me a hug.

"So where's your future husband?" He asked.

"Oh he's somewhere. I think he's helping my dad with something out back," I replied. Uncle Jay smiled and walked out of the back door and into the yard.  When he walked out of the door, Alexandra ran over to me and gave me a  hug.

"Why didn't you tell us that you were engaged to LOUIS TOMLINSON?!?!?!?!?!?!" She exclaimed. I heard his family laugh.

"Because I knew you would react like this," I laughed. She blushed and then Lou's sisters walked over to us and I introduced Isabella and Alexandra to the girls. They seemed to get along as they walked out the back door together. I got up and went over to my Aunt Amy and gave her a hug. She was the one that taught me a lot about horses.

"I can't believe my 6-year-old little horse crazy girl is getting married. It seems like yesterday you came up for your first lesson with me in your little helmet from Grandma and you hopped on that little Arabian mare. Then I saw you grow up, go to shows, get a bunch of ribbons, achieve your dreams, graduate high school, and now you're getting married to a pop-star," she told me with  tears in her eyes. When she was done she pulled me into her hug. Like the hug she gave me after I hopped off the little Arabian mare when I was 6 years old.

"Thanks for everything Aunt Amy. I love you," I whispered into her ear.

"I love you too kiddo," she whispered back and then kissed me on the cheek. For a moment, I felt six-years-old and that every horse seemed so big. I looked at the clock and it was 2:45.

"Everything is ready!" My mom exclaimed. We started bringing all of the food out and putting them on the tables.

The tent was one of those big white ones and it had twinkle-y lights for when the sun goes down. The tables had yellow and plum-purple linens. Everything looked so perfect. There was a mini stage up there with speakers and 5 mics. They were going to sing for everyone! My cousins had to be excited. When everyone was distracted, I snuck out to the barn in search for Tundra. When I walked to his his stall, I slipped into his stall.

I was leaning against the stall wall and was thinking back to my first lesson with my aunt.

I woke up that day knowing I was going to be with horses so of course I got up really early for a Saturday.

"Daddy! Daddy! It's time to get up! I have a lesson with Aunt Amy today!" I exclaimed whilst jumping on the bed.

"Alyssa you back to bed, it's 7:45," he replied.

"We have to get up!" I continued. My dad climbed out of bed and got dressed as did I. I ran to the car with my little breeches and paddock boots and climbed into my booster seat. When we got there everything was so big. I brushed the horse, helped saddle up, and got on.

My aunt taught me basic stuff that summer then I got actual lessons from a trainer who worked at our barn and did lessons.

Tundra was staring at me and then I heard foot-steps come into the barn so I ducked in the corner where no one would see me.

"Zayn... you have to get over her she has Louis," I heard Liam say to Zayn.

"I know but Liam... I just... can't," he replied.

"Well try because you're going to split them apart and it's going to be all your fault. Do you know how bad Lou would be hurt? Think about everyone else for a change," Liam whisper-yelled, trying not to spook the horses.

"Do you really think I want to hurt them?" Zayn asked.

"Get a grip Zayn, you have to learn that they are in love and that they are getting married," Liam said in a calmer voice. I heard them walk out of the barn so I got up and made my way back to the party.

Everyone was in my backyard having a good time. I took my seat in between Louis and my father then I saw my mom get out of her seat and onto the stage.

"Can everyone hear me?" She asked. "I just want to say thank you for coming here to listen to our big announcement. Alyssa? Can you come up here?" She asked me and looked at Louis too. We walked up to the stage hand-in-hand, and I was hearing murmurs from our guests.

"We are gathered here this afternoon because I have an announcement to make. I am engaged! Louis and I are getting married and after meeting at his concert that day, I knew he was the one. I know what you're going to say: you're too young to know what love is and it's going to end up badly. But I want to tell you: I am 1000% positive about Mr. Louis William Tomlinson and I want to become Mrs. Tomlinson and grow old together and raise our children up wit horses and teach them to respect everyone. I am so happy that I met someone who actually gets me and I hope you accept me getting married at age 19," I told the guests with 100% of confidence. Everyone applauded and then Louis pulled me into a hug. We went back to our seats and then my father got up to go to the stage.

"Thank you everyone for coming today. I just want to say that my little girl is no longer that little girl that would sneak out of the house at 3:00 in the morning to go sleep in the barn. Or would fit in the nap-sack that would go on my back while I rode when she was 6-months-old or someone that was in the lead-line classes at the western pleasure shows. But now that little-girl is getting married, growing up, and leaving off to live her own life with someone I trust to take care of her. I love you baby-girl and I cannot wait to give you away to Louis," he smiled at me with some tears in his eyes.

"I love you Daddy," I mouthed to him. He smiled and winked at which made me smile too. After my dad, Louis' mother went up.

"I can't believe my son is marrying someone so strong and independent. I can't believe that 21 years ago, I met someone so wonderful and full of energy and now that you are traveling the world, making millions of people feel great but now you have someone to come home to and make that one person feel happy for the rest of her life. Good luck guys and I love you," she smiled at the both of.

When everyone was done with toasts and everything like that, the sun was setting and all of the horses were out grazing on the lush, green grass. Lou had his arm around my shoulders and my dad was still sitting next to me. My parents and siblings along with his parents and sisters were at one table. It was around 5:00 and dinner was just being put out, the twinkle-y lights were on and everything just looked magical.

After dinner, Louis, Harry, Niall, Liam, and Zayn got up from their seats and walked up to the stage. Niall got a guitar from the behind of the speaker and they all took a seat on the chairs that were placed on the stage.

"This song is for my beautiful fiancee` Alyssa. I love you," he smiled at me. Niall started playing and the familiar chords were being strummed.

Your hand fits in mine

Like it’s made just for me

But bear this in mind

It was meant to be

And I’m joining up the dots

With the freckles on your cheeks

And it all makes sense to me

I know you’ve never loved

The crinkles by your eyes

When you smile,

You’ve never loved

Your stomach or your thighs

The dimples in your back

At the bottom of your spine

But I’ll love them endlessly

CHORUS: [Zayn and Liam]

I won’t let these little things

Slip out of my mouth

But if I do

It’s you

Oh it’s you

They add up to

I’m in love with you

And all these little things

You can't go to bed

Without a cup of tea

And maybe that’s the reason

That you talk in your sleep

And all those conversationAre the secrets that I keep

Though it makes no sense to me

I know you’ve never loved the sound of your voice on tape

You never want to know how much weigh

You still have to squeeze into your jeansBut you’re perfect to me

CHORUS: [Harry and Niall]

I won’t let these little things

Slip out of my mouthbut if it’s true

It’s you

Oh it’s you

They add up to

I’m in love with you

And all these little things

You’ll never love yourself

Half as much as I love you

You’ll never treat yourself right darlin’

But I want you to

If I let you know

I’m here for you

Maybe you’ll love yourself like I love you

I’ve just let these little things

Slip out of my mouthBecause it’s you

Oh it’s youIt’s youThey add up to

And I’m in love with you

And all these little things

I won’t let these little things

Slip out of my mouth

But if it’s true

It’s youIt’s you

They add up to

I’m in love with you

And all your little thing

When the song ended the boys got up and Louis walked back over to the table and kissed my cheek earning a chorus of 'awwwww's from everyone under the tent.

The night was perfect and it was just magical. They boys did an acoustic version of 'One Thing', 'What Makes You Beautiful', "Back for You', and then they sang 'More Than This'. My cousins were all drooling over them and they laughed while Louis' sisters were acting as if it was something totally normal. I laughed and then Louis winked at me from the stage which made me giggle and blush.

By the time the party was over, it was 10:00 so after cleaning up the food, Louis and I went up to my room to get ready for bed. I grabbed my pj's and walked over to the bathroom and washed my make-up off. The bathroom door was open so Louis was talking to me.

"Did you have fun today?" He asked.

"I did and the performance was amazing," I said while I scrubbed the make-up off. I changed into my pj's and then walked into my room. I crawled into the bed and snuggled up against Louis' chest. He hummed 'Little Things' and I fell asleep.

Hello readers!

I just want to say that all of these comments and everything make my day so keep 'em coming! Also, this chapter isn't so long but it's short and sweet. Wow WMYB just cam on shuffle on my phone haha. Anyway, I actually kinda like this chapter and I hope you do too.

I do actually have an aunt that taught me almost everything about horses and while I was writing this chapter, I texted her saying thank you for helping me become part of the person I am today. I honestly son't know what non-equestrians do on their weekends... do you like... go to the mall every weekend and gossip about stupid stuff?

Well I hope you have a nice week and everything! Also, comment what should be in the next chapter because I am stuck...
