Just by Chance

Callie is just your average 18 year old. She is from London and works in a cafe. Her 15 year old sister is in love with One Direction and Callie is just a little annoyed by that fact, but she has nothing against them. What happens when during her normal day, one unexpected event leads to another?

4. Incident number one

It felt like I had been staring for hours, but really only a few seconds, into those deep, gorgeous blue eyes of a familiar looking blonde-haired Irish boy before I finally was able to get the words "I will be with you in one moment" out of my mouth.

As I was running into the back of the cafe, I heard the boy standing next to him snicker and say something to the blonde boy. I could not catch all of it but something I heard made my stop. "Typical fan."  I am not really sure why,  but this rubbed me the wrong way. I mean am I fan? I like their music and all but I would not say I am a fan...and the way he said it, with the whole she is lower than us attitude. Or maybe I am just reading into this to much. Whatever it is I do not like it and I want them out of my cafe.

I laughed to myself as I was heading back out to the front of the cafe as I thought of what my mom always tells me. I am way to quick to judge and can be a bit hostile towards guys...I just respond with I wonder why?

As I got back to the front of the cafe I planned on telling them we were closed. However, as I looked up I looked into the same eyes that had me in a daze a few minutes ago. I lost my thought and was about to let them stay...but as I looked away to the dark haired boy covered in tattoos next to him, I remembered what I was going to do.

"Sorry but we're closed for the night." I said and watched as smile left the blonde boys face. Aw now I feel bad....

"Well since I am here, is there anything you could sell me real quick? And then I will leave, I promise." He said with a sad face and an Irish accent that was just to cute. Should I be able to remember there names? Is it bad that I don't? I felt bad so I started to say I will go make him something but then I remembered his friends comment and decided against it.

"I'm sorry but I am not allowed to cook after closing time." I told him, complete lie I have done it before for my friends...but I did not want to for them. Actually if I was being honest with myself, I would have totally done it for the blonde one, just not his friend. My thoughts changed however as I saw his face fall again.

"Okay, sorry to bug you." He was just to sweet...

"Wait!" I said as they turned around to leave...I can not believe I am doing this, "You can take what is leftover from today, on the house to."

His face got brighter and that cute smile returned as he said "Really! Thanks, I'm starving!"

"Ya, thank you so much! That is really sweet and we're sorry to bug you!" his friend also mentioned with a smile coming to his face. Okay maybe I misjudged him...he seemed nice?

I gave him his food and as he was walking out the door I yelled "Thank you come again!" and realized that probably was not the best thing to say when the blonde turned around and said he would make sure he would, but hey force of habit. I did not want them to come back. However, I could make an exception for the blonde hair...and that scared me because I did not know what I was getting myself into.
