1. Night Out

Gemini POV

I slipped out of my house, dressed in a black leather skirt, dark top and leather jacket paired off with boots. I crept along the long alleyway and crawled under the fence. The next buildings were 'abandoned' or that's what the police thinks. I went to the fifth door down the street and knocked two times, signifying my rank. The door edged open and I walked in silently, only the tapping of my heels  on the old wooden floor could be heard. I headed towards the cellar entrance and knocked in a rhythmic pattern, the code of entrance. It slid open and I could hear voices talking about our next move.

"Gemini! C'mon, group's back here!" Ryan, a gang regular, gave lead me towards the main group. The cellars of all the houses on this road were merged, so we had this huge underground space all to ourselves to store vehicles, guns and drugs.

"Well well well! Gemini Forste, nice of you to show up," The boss and one of my best friends, Nate WIlliams smirked as he noticed me.

I playfully punched him in the shoulder as I smirked back, understanding the little game we play at meetings every week.

"Now old Gem's here we can get down to business," Nate said in a firm voice.

All the quiet chatter died down and all heads turned this way,"The other gang, Avalon Black is building up power, we need to try and knock it down. You got me?" There were way more gangs in New York than ours. Ours was just one of the most powerful, with over 500 people associated with it.

The meeting carried on as I tuned out, I knew all this already, Nate and I go to the same school, where we go to the library to plan break ins and robberies. No one ever goes to the library.

I nodded at the right times and when it was time to go Nate pulled me into the bear hug but also slipping a pocket knife into my back pocket. I looked at him curiously and he shrugged, already walking in the other direction. Oh wasn't a gang fun.
