30. Chapter 30: most magical experience

Chapter 30: most magical experience

‘Ali. Aliraaaaaaa. Alibabes. Aliyra. Aaaaaalllliiiiiirrrrraaaaaa.’ Louis said over and over again. But I ignored him because he won’t tell me where we’re going.

He began poking me- my cheek, my arm, my leg -but when we got to my sides I had to hold back squeals and laughs. I’m the most ticklish person you can ever meet. And I guess he can tell that I was stifling a laugh because he kept doing it and he had a playful smirk etched on his face.

‘Aliiiii.’ He whispered as he poke my sides. I can feel a smile creeping onto my lips so I bit my cheeks from the inside.

‘Aliiii.’ He dragged out my name for longer this time. He poked the spot where I was most ticklish and I jumped. I turned to face him.

‘You’re gonna talk to me now?’ He asked as he cocked his head to the side. I shook my head and turned away. He began tickling me and I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I laughed like crazy, trying to push him off.

‘Lou-is. N-no, don’t. St-op. HAHAHAHA, STOOOOP’ I yelled the last bit really loud which caused the driver to look at us weirdly. I blushed slightly and I turned to Louis who had a smug smile on his face.

‘You talking to me now?’ He asked and his eyebrow rose up.

I just smiled at him.  He waited for an answer for a minute and all I did was smile. He sighed and then he began poking me again. I poked him back. He was surprised at first, but then we went into a poking war. Yes, like those stupid poke wars people used to do on facebook but it’s in reality. We kept poking each other until I whined about getting hurt.

‘AH HA!’ Louis yelled out of no where.

‘What?’ I asked him, looking outside the window. He quickly whipped my head back.

‘Ow!’ I screamed.

‘Sorry, you’re not allowed to look outside.’ He shrugged as if it was a normal thing. I shook my head as I laughed at his behaviour.

‘So, why did you scream?’ I asked him because I never really got the answer.

‘Oh, nothing, You were just talking to me again.’ He smiled and i rolled my eyes.

‘You’re such an idiot.’ I laughed.

‘Yeah, but I’m a good idiot.’ He made his chest look broader and he had a sheepish smile on his face.

‘Whatever makes you sleep, babe.’ I patted his cheek.

‘Oh, look! We’re here!’ Louis screamed and I instantly looked outside the window.

‘NO!’ He screamed again and I turned back to him, ‘You’re still not allowed to look.’ he smirked.

He led me out of the car and before I could turn around I was greeted with blackness. I lifted up my hand and I heard the bangles clink against each other. I started to panic. My stomach twisted into a tight knot.

‘Louis? Lou, what’s going on?’ I started to turn around, searching for his body.

‘It’s alright, love. I just blindfolded you.’ He laughed lightly and my stomach went back to normal and I began to breathe properly.

‘Where am I going?’ I asked him. In answer, he grabbed my arm and led me in. I stumbled a bit and I slowed us down.

‘Louis, I can’t walk properly. Can you please take the blindfold off?’ I asked him, turning to wear I presume he is. He sighed.

‘No way in hell will I take it off.’ He muttered and I felt my feet leave the ground.

‘Lou! I’m in a dress!’ I tried to reason with him. I started to pull down at the hem of lace dress.

‘Chill, babe. Your dress isn’t exposing anything.’ And I can legit picture him smirking in my head. I sighed in defeat. After a minute or so I felt the ground rising.

‘Are we in an elevator?’ I asked him.

‘Yep.’ He answered. I waited for another minute and I still haven’t heard the ding.

‘How high is this place?’ I murmured, more to myself.

‘The highest.’ He murmured back.

I thought about that for a minute. What building is this high and is half an hour away from my house? I have no clue. I finally heard the ding and I got even more excited.

‘Hurry up and take it off!’ i said, trying to yank the fabric off my head.

‘Alright, alright. Just wait until I set you down.’ He laughed.

As soon as I felt the ground under my feet, I began trying to pull it off my head. I heard a sigh and another pair of hands replacing mine. I finally felt the blindfold fall away and at first I thought about my hair but when I saw what was in front of me, I didn’t care about anything.

In front of me was a table with a white cloth on top. It was almost like the table from our first date but this was more beautiful. There was candles absolutely everywhere. The lights were dim which gave the candles more of a glow. And behind that table the city lights were in view. The lights of Sydney shone bright through the high window. That’s when it all clicked.

‘Sydney Tower.’ I whispered. This was indeed magical.

‘Do you like it? I have another place in mind, you know. If this is too much for yo-’ I cut him off as he started to worry.

‘Shhhh!’ I said to him. I walked over to the window and I stared down at the view.

‘This is beautiful.’ I gushed.

‘Oh, thank god. I thought it was too much, you know.’ Louis said next to me and he looked down at his feet. I turned to him and I lifted up his chin.

‘This more than beautiful.’ I whispered and I kissed him. I smiled into the kiss as it deepened. After a few more seconds we both pulled away, grinning like idiots.

‘Let’s eat.’ Louis winked and dragged me to the table.

He pulled out the chair and I went over to it but he jumped over the back and sat down. I fake scoffed and he laughed, jumping off the chair.

‘As if, I’d do that.’ Louis said and he took my hand and sat me down on the chair. He kissed me on the cheek before going to his chair.

‘Okay, I have something super important to ask.’ He said seriously. I got scared for a bit. What’s the super important question? I decided to play it cool.

‘Shoot.’ I smiled.

‘Were you really not a fan when you met us?’ He asked. And I breathed out a small sigh of relief.

‘Nope, sorry.’ I shrugged my shoulders and blushed a little. I feel so guilty that I never liked them. Now that I know them personally, I love them. It’s true what I said before, I didn’t love them. I loved their music. I couldn’t love them before cause I never knew them. But now that I know them, it’s amazing how they are exactly how they are in all those video diaries Jenna made me watch. They’re all stupid, and weird, and downright amazing.

‘Why not?’ Louis asked me.

‘Well, I was a fan of your music. I didn’t ‘love’ you because I didn’t know you personally.’ I answered him.

‘Fair enough. Do you love us now?’ He asked me, giving me a knowing look.

‘Of course!’ I laughed.

The waiter came out, holding a platter of food for the both of us. This time, dinner was fancy instead of the kfc chicken he bought last time. We both had pasta with some potato salad. I happily dug into the food which tasted prime.

‘This is literally the best food i’ve ever tasted!’ I moaned as i put another spoonful into my mouth.

‘I’m glad you’re enjoying your favourite food.’ Louis winked.

‘How did you know? You’re not stalking me, are you?’ I gave him a weird look.

‘Well, i just got caught. I’ve been stalking you since you turned 15.’ He cackled like an evil witch. I gasped, pretending to be shocked and then I started to laugh.

‘No, seriously. How did you know?’ I said after a little laugh.

‘Jenna told me.’ He shrugged with a smile.

‘Oh. I expected something out of the ordinary, you know. Reading minds, literally stalking me, reading my diary but, you know, talking to Jenna is cool to.’ I said, nodding and eating that last bite of my food.

‘I have a secret to tell you.’ He whispered. He curled is fore finger, urging me forward. I leaned in and once I was close enough he finally told me.

‘I’m.... SUPERMAAAAAN!’ He screamed, jumping up and taking superman’s pose.

‘Oh, that’s cool because I’m catwoman.’ I winked, getting up and curling my hand like a paw.

‘Are you thinking what I’m thinking, B1?’ Louis looked at me.

‘I think I am, B2.’ I said, looking at him.

‘Superhero team time.’ We said together, looking into an imaginary camera. I started to laugh really loudly and annoyingly. Louis looked at me with a smile.

‘What?’ I ask, after my laughing fit.

‘Nothing... Your laugh is just so amazing.’ He whispered and I blushed, looking down on my feet.

‘Th-thanks.’ I stuttered, smiling to myself.

‘Ali, I have an important question.’ He sounded dead serious this time.

‘Yes?’ I asked, looking up.

‘Come with me first.’ He smiled, holding out his hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me over to the window.

‘Look down.’ He smiled and I looked down onto the ground below.

There, using the lights from the buildings it said ‘be my girlfriend?’ My eyes shone with tears. This is the most amazing thing someone has ever done for me. I put my hand up against the glass and practically pressed my nose against it. The tears spilled down my face and I had a big smile on. I turned to him.

‘Why are you crying?’ He whispered, his eyes looked worried.

‘Because I’m so happy.’ I whispered back.

‘So, will you?’ He asked me, completely unsure of my answer. And completely oblivious to how obvious my answer is.

‘Of course I will.’ I whispered, my smile somehow getting bigger.

He smiled and he leaned in. I leaned in as well and our lips touched. The fireworks exploding again. All through my body. My heart fluttered and quickened. Then somewhere in the distance, I hear fireworks going off. I pulled away a bit and I looked out the window. In the sky, the colours red, pink, blue and green where bursting in the sky. All in the shapes of hearts.

‘Did you do this?’ I asked, turning to him.

‘Yes... is it too much?’ He asked me.

‘It’s perfect.’ I smiled and we kissed again.

My arms went around his neck and his arms snaked around my waist. He pulled me in closer, making our bodies one. As the kiss deepened, my hair wound around his messy brown hair. I can feel his hand pushing me more into him. I pulled away from him and smiled.

‘This is the most magical experience.’ I whispered, staring into his shining blue eyes.

‘I told you.’ He smirked and he kissed me once more.

Don’t judge me when you read this, okay. I don’t know how it feels like if you kiss someone who you know you love. Because I’ve never actually had a romantic kiss. So, don’t judge me. I’m sorry if I got all the wrong descriptions. I’m just going off of what I’ve read in books and stuff. Hopefully I get a kiss like this one day. I’m such a romantic *smh*
