10. "...He's Back."

Amber POV

"Liam! I'm back!" I shouted, walking into the hotel room.

"Hey, babe," he said, walking over and pecking my lips, "How was practice?"

I groaned. "Tiring!" I answered, flopping onto the couch.

Liam chuckled and sat down next to me. He started to comb his fingers through my hair and started to hum a soothing melody.

I smiled and closed my eyes.

My phone started to ring, ruining the moment. I groaned and went to grab my phone.

"Hello?" I asked, not even bothering to check the caller ID.

"Amber, I need your help, stat!" I heard Salina whisper.

"With what?" I asked, confused.

"Jason. He's back."

My eyes widened. "JASON!? I thought he was gone for good!"

"So did I!"

"Oh my god! Okay, tell me where you are, now." I said, slipping my shoes back on and grabbing my car keys.

Liam looked at me, confused.

"I'll be right back, promise." I mouthed.

He nodded and kissed my forehead.

"Salina, you can't keep me hanging, c'mon now." I told her, rushing out to my car.

"I'm at a table inside Starbucks. The one a block away from the hotel." she whispered.

"Why are you whispering?"

"Because he works here and he's coming this way and just get here fast!" she answered, before the line went dead.

"Shit." I muttered under my breath, practically speeding down the road.

I finally got to Starbucks and rushed out of the car. Just in time, too.

I spotted Jason sitting across from Salina, making her very uncomfortable.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the high school douche-bag." I spat, standing behind Salina.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the high school whore." he spat back, smirking at me.

"Don't you dare call me that again." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Or what? You're prissy boyfriend is gonna beat me up? Yeah, right."

I clenched my teeth and I felt my hands balling into fists.

"Yeah, I know about your new boy-toy, Amber."

"He's not a boy-toy." I said through clenched teeth.

He chuckled and stood up. "Look, all I wanted to do was catch up with Salina, here. I didn't come for any trouble."

I shook my head at him. "If I were you, I'd leave now, before her boyfriend gets here."

"Why? Is he gonna sing me to death?" he chuckled, "Believe me, I know all about you girls and your boyfriends. Who doesn't?"

I was seriously about to punch this dickhead, if it wasn't for Salina grabbing my fist and stopping me.

"Don't do anything you'll regret." she whispered to me.

"I'm leaving." I said, storming out of the store.

Once I got outside, I screamed and kicked an empty coffee cup.

He's such a dick. He always was. Believe me, I've dated him. All he wants in a girl, is their body. He got me reeled in and he got Salina reeled in. He almost got Madi too. Almost.

Speaking of Madi.....she and the other girls were headed inside......shit.

"Hey, girls!" I said, blocking the exit.

"Oh, hey, Amber!" they smiled.

"I wouldn't go in there if I were you..." I said.

"Why? We just wanna get some coffee. The hotel coffee sucks." Sky muttered the last sentence.

" see....."

"Spit it out, Ilvento." Madi laughed.

"Jasonisinthere." I quickly blurted out.

"WHAT!?" they all shouted, pushing through the door.

They gasped when they saw him, trying to hug Salina, who was pushing him away.

"Jason....." Madi muttered, narrowing her eyes at him. She's always had a strong disliking for him.

He stopped at turned towards us.

"Well, would ya look at that. The whole clique is here. What is this, a high school reunion?" he smirked.

"Back the hell away, Jason." Madi spat.

"And why should I take orders from you?" he asked, crossing his arms.

"Just. Back. Off." Aubrey muttered.

"You girls are just a piece of work aren't you? I could say anything about you, but you won't do anything about it. You say you will, but you won't." he smirked.

Oh, no. I know where this is going.

"Jason, just stop." I muttered.

"I don't want to. In fact, I could start right now."

"With what?" Sky asked.

"Well, for starters, Madi. You've always gone for the wrong guys. I mean, c'mon. When was the last time you dates a guy that didn't want to just fuck you, then be done with it?"

I saw her lips fold into a straight line and her eyes started to water.

"And, Aubrey. Oh, sweet, little, innocent, Aubrey. The girl who's only had one other boyfriend in her life. The girl who's had one boyfriend that didn't even love you. He hated you with all his heart. It was all just a dare. And you fell for it."

Aubrey crossed her arms and tried to hold in tears. "Stop....." she whispered.

"Oh, no. I'm not finished. There's still little old Skyler, here. The one girl out of this whole group who's been 'Virgin Mary' until a few months ago. I still remember the cliché 'A Walk To Remember' joke that went around the school about you. Let's see, wasn't it.....oh yes. They photo shopped that picture-"

"STOP!" Sky screamed, covering her ears, tears sliding down her face.

The whole coffee shop got silent.

"Jason, you've gone WAY too far." I said, angrily.

"Oh, have I?" he asked, "What're you gonna do about it?"

"SHE'S not gonna do anything. WE are." a voice said from behind me.

I turned to see five very pissed off boys comforting their girlfriends.

This isn't going to be pretty....
