Forgetting Forever

For Carissa McVeigh moving was nothing new, she lived her first five years of her life in a suit case - Staying in different hotels and apartments all around Ireland with her dad who was a work addict .
But this was her biggest move yet - from Ireland to America.
What would her new life bring?

5. Alexandra

I turned around slowly and came face to face with the girl from the locket. She was had long blonde hair down to her waist, a thin pale face and big brown eyes. Her voice had a slight accent- It was Norwegian - I think? I took a step back " W-What are you doing in my house?" I gasped. "No, what are YOU doing in my house I rather think I should be asking you" she replied with, walking a circle around me. She was walking on the tips of her ballet shoes and her tutu swooshed around her thighs with every step. I just stared at her, I don't know why I didn't call for help. I was in shock I guess and also I knew nobody was here. “Do not be afraid honey, I'm not going to hurt you” she laughed and sat on the ground with her legs crossed. Her head tilted to the side like a confused puppy. I just stared right back at her. “WELL, can't you speak?” she said, sounding impatient. “Y-Yes I replied” taking a step back from her. “What are you doing here?” I said. The girl looked down at herself, “Can't you guess? I'm Dancing. My names Alexandra Mørkhet – But you can call me Lex. You're one of the very few people who come along that are very lucky to be able to see me, these people are called Death Hunters. Only one of you 'Death Hunters' comes along every one hundred years – And yes. I'm Dead. Nobody else can see me but you.'' She then smiled pleasantly at me as if all this was perfectly normal. ''You're crazy – T-This is some sick joke. Who put you up to this?'' I demanded. ''Honey – I'm not crazy, you're just shocked. Now come sit down with me''.
