9. Judgement Day

"...And I therefore decree that Chealsea Smith Keller an amnesiac and given a forty year sentence to Norwill Maximum Security Prison,"The crowd booed at the sentence but that just made my heart drop to my stomach. Twenty years of my life gone in a hell hole with criminals as my best friends.

I was lead out of the room by armed men and taken into a car. A harem of journalists crowded the exit but were batted away by security. I kept in the tears that were forming in my eyes. My life is about to become absolutely wonderful. I didn't remember a thing. My mind was blank when I tried to remember two months ago. All I could think of is a blank page. Doctors were called in. I was tested too many times to remember. But they finally concluded that I had a severe case of amnesia. They also thought that I had multiple personality disorder were my alter ego was some mass murderer. Wonderful discoveries. I leaned my head against the cool glass of the window and gently cried. The tears spilling down my cheeks. I couldn't wipe them away. My hands were tied up. I hiccuped and clenched my hands into fists. I felt like my mind was slowly fading away from me.... I understand the only way to get out of this mess. I'll go where the Chief went. To that happy place in the sky where I can't harm people anymore. Where I won't have to face criminals everyday the forty years. A place where everyone will have to go one day. With my plan made up, I eagerly awaited our arrival and hoped some murderer in there still had his killing instincts going on. Life is weak. It can't catch us when we fall. So we always end up falling in death's arms anyway.
