Love is a Payne

Clarissa has lived in Doncaster all her life, her brother is Louis Tomlinson. When she meets all of One Direction she immediately falls in love with Liam Payne. She has two problems. One is that she doesn't think she is good enough for him, the other is that he is engaged to Danielle. What happenes when Liam realises he is falling for Louis' little sister?

3. I just want you

Liam's P.O.V

When I finally went up to bed I found Danielle sitting on the bed in her nightie, she was glaring at me. I had no idea what I had done this time but I didn't care, I kept replaying my kiss with Clarissa. I could still feel her lips against mine, could still feel them moving against mine. Danielle came up behind me and placed her hands on her hips, shifting her weight onto her right leg.

"You're up pretty late." Danielle said, I could hear the accusation in her voice. I couldn't care less, what business was it of hers anyway. I shrugged nonchalantly, pretending that I thought she deserved any explanation. What I did was none of her business  we weren't married yet and I didn't love her, she didn't need to know what I was doing at all times.

"I guess, but then so are you." I replied, acting like everything was casual when my lips still felt as though they were still pressed against someone else's. My comment silenced her for a moment but of course she had a come back, as always.

"I at least was in the room, you were downstairs with the boys and that girl." She said the word girl like it was poison, knowing she meant Clarissa didn't help with acting casual. I gritted my teeth.

"Yes I was with the guys and Clarissa, what does it matter?" I asked, nothing had happened. Or at least nothing sexual, it was just one kiss even if it had caused a strange fire to erupt inside me. Passion had flared up in me, I had barley been able to keep from ripping her clothes off right in front of the guys. Though I knew that was bad, it hadn't felt it.

"It matters! I am your fiancé, don't think I didn't hear about that kiss between you and Louis' little sister, even if it was a game." She continued, honestly her voice was so annoying.

"You know what Danielle  I'm tired and I don't have the energy to argue with you. I' going to see if Louis will let me sleep on his sofa." I said and before she could reply, I was out the door. Though I wasn't sure where I was going, I just needed to get out of that room. I was about to knock on Louis door when I heard something, it was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard, including mine and the boys. I looked around quickly to make sure no-one had heard that, then I realised I had said it inside my head.

"Baby, you have the sweetest smile, but you ain't the sweetest guy. Doesn't stop me from staring all day. Your lips look so soft but you act all though, but I grew up knowing who you really are. You are sentimental, kind of crazy, used to say you couldn't wait to be able to call me your baby but then. you. grew. up." The words flouted through a small gap in the doorway from the room across from Louis'. I knew who it had to be, the kids were all asleep and it didn't sound like the boys. Clarissa. Her voice was just loud enough to be heard above the sound of a guitar.

"Now, I'm waiting for you to finally see, you mean everything to me. I see you with your girlfriend, she's bragging to her best friend about how hot you are. She doesn't seem to notice, the lost look in your eyes. Baby I do, I get the same look when I look at you. OH, I wish you would say you love me, remember when we were kids and were so close. But if you find it too hard, then let me say it first. I love you, oh I do, I wish you would say it too..." Her words trailed off as the sound of the guitar did. I cautiously knocked, when she heard it I thought I heard a gasp of surprise. Slowly, I stepped into her room and almost stopped breathing at the sight. Clarissa was in her pyjamas and apparently she slept in the most transparent camisole, and no bra, along with no bottoms but just her underwear. It took me a moment to avert my gaze and start breathing again.

"Sorry, I just... um... I heard you singing and I was curious. It was great." I managed to choke out. My mind couldn't seem to create proper sentences, and I wasn't going to dare to look back at her.

"Yeah, well I didn't know anyone was still up. Thank you though." Her words were a mere whisper. I dared to look at her and saw she was blushing, it was cute.

"So... What was the name of that song?" I ask. Somehow I couldn't take my eyes of her this time, though I tried to keep them off her chest. Her eyes kind of glittered in the light that her bedside lamp emanated, it was mesmerising. Clarissa looked down again, her blush becoming more noticeable.

"I haven't really finished it, but I think I'll call it, I just want you." her eyes looked up for a moment, I could have sworn that she was saying something different, but I suppose I was just over thinking it. There was a moment of awkward silence and I began to step out of the room.

"Well... um... I guess I should just... I should go bed." I finished lamely, hanging my head in shame. Before I left the room I could swear I saw a hint of a smile on her lips. The sight brought my own smile to my face. With nothing else to say, I left Clarissa standing there, stared as the door closed on me.
