3. You Don't Love Her Like I Do

"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be," I read. It may sound weird because she's getting older, but Torey still wants me to read her bedtime stories. But I'm sworn to secrecy. I'm not allowed to tell anyone. "That's my favorite story," she smiled.
"Mmmm mine too," I whispered. She looked up at me with those big brown eyes. "Is he coming home tonight?" I hesitated then finally answered, "Yes. But hes not going to bother you. He won't you'll be okay," I got up and kissed her forehead. "I love you,"
"I love you too," she replied.
I went to the living room, and turned on the TV. As soon as I heard the front door open, I turned it off and rushed into the kitchen.
He stumbled in, smiling wildly.
"Where have you been?" I asked.
"None of your business, sweetie,"
"Don't call me that," I mumbled under my breath.
He grabbed my arm tightly. "What did you say?" He yelled.
"Nothing, nothing!" I cried.
He laughed. "Not as tough as you appear aren't ya?"
He let go and wobbled up the stairs. I quietly followed him to make sure he didn't go into Torey's room. He didn't luckily. We couldn't live like this anymore. I knew what I had to do, but I wasn't sure if I had the guys to do it.
