Pretend It's Love

"Hey girl it's now or never, it's now or never."
Spencer always wanted to leave America to live in England. She always felt like herself there everytime she visited. So when her parents give the big news that her family was moving there permanently, Spencer was excited to live there and hang out with her friends. The only problem is that her friends got One Direction tickets and they want her to come. Spencer doesn't like 1D in any way or form. But when things get messed up, will her life become different?

27. The Post-concert

(this is an update from my iPod so just a friendly reminder)

I gather up my belongings from the dressing room and walk back towards the exit. I take out my phone and notice that it was blown up with twitter and instagram notifications.

Holy crap I never had that many in my life! I take a look on both networks and notice a big change in followers! I only had 200 on instagram and about 100 on twitter, but after the concert tonight, I went up to about one thousand followers on instagram and ten thousand on twitter. Ten thousand!

I suddenly get a text. It's from Grace. Grace? Why would she text me? I must have forgotten to delete her number. But anywho, I open up the text.

From: Grace "Hey. Me and Rach saw u and Clara onstage at the concert. U looked like u were having a great time. I thought u hated one direction, but ur living the dream. Even though we aren't friends anymore, I just want 2 say congratulations on becoming background dancers for 1D. Hope u have fun in America and we wish you guys the best of luck. U made it big. After u read this, u can delete our numbers."

I type a quick message back.

To: Grace "Thanks."

And after that, I went to my contact list and deleted their numbers off of my phone.

I never heard from them again.

I went through the exit and I saw Brian standing there with his car. "And you didn't think that I'd make it to the concert." I smile and run over to give him a big hug. "Congrats, kiddo. I knew you'd make it big someday."

"Thanks." I cling onto my older brother with all my might. "Let's go home."

After a long drive back, I run upstairs and begin to pack for the tour. I've only been living in England for two weeks and I'm going back to America for a month! Maybe even two!

After I finished packing, I went on twitter and tweeted for the first time since I left Boston.

@spencebridgett: "two weeks in England already and I'm coming back to America for the next month or so! To all of my friends in the US, mainly Boston, get ready to see the new me!"

I sent the tweet, and only a few seconds in and I get a reply from Tara Schroeder, a girl who's nice to me in school. She replied.

@tarabear14: "WHEN DID YOU MOVE TO ENGLAND?! And why are you coming back?!" I reply back to her.

@spencebridgett: @tarabear14 I moved two weeks ago because my dad got transferred to Syco. And I'm coming back because my dads clients are touring America and I'm one of the background dancers!!!"

Our conversation went on until about 11 at night here. I tell her that I have to go to bed because it's already 11 here even though it's only six in Boston. I log off and hop into bed. In a few hours I'll be on a flight with my dad, my best friend, my other other friends, and the one that I love.

This is a dream coming to a reality.

A/N: HOWDY!! I found time to create a chapter on my iPod so I'm updating from it. So I make my confirmation tomorrow, and the basketball season ends tomorrow with the last season game at home. I had a fun season! I made new friends, I learned new plays, and despite the ankle sprain I received a few weeks ago causing me to sit out for a few games, it was well worth it. Tournament starts on Saturday and I can't wait!!  So this is coming to you via iPod on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 9:51 pm! So thanks for reading! Maddie
